This book is...weird. It's like a cooking manga, but they're exploring a dungeon, trying to find and rescue someone, and since they need to eat along the way, they kill and eat the monsters that protect the dungeon. There are funny moments, but the characters aren't well developed yet, so it feels like I got dropped into a story that's already started.

I absolutely love this anime. I read it as a manga when it first started and now seeing it come together in an anime is spectacular. I love Naofumi and Raphtalia. Their character development is amazing. It's still ongoing so we shall see how the series continues!

The first volume of The Demon Ororon is a little confusing at times. It's hard to tell exactly what happens, and who did it, because some of the character faces resemble each other closely. The story seems to jump around a bit, as well. Maybe it's another series that ultimately does better on a screen than in the manga format.

This is a collection of seven short stories in manga format. Most of the stories were fine, considering the short length. My only real complaint is that the last story should not have been the last. The book should have ended maybe with one of the first few, instead. The stories were all fairly different from one another, which was nice.

I'm confused right now. Why is Eros being an arse? Why has his brother decided to give up modelling so suddenly--I don't believe he doesn't get paid better for the modelling! As for the rest, I'm still a bit confused by it all. It's just not making much sense to me right now :/

I may continue this manga at a later date.

I enjoyed the final volume of Erased just as much as the others. The culmination was a reminder that the series was written for a teenage reading audience. However, it was still a great series that I would recommend to anyone looking for a non-battle-based manga series. I'd say this is definitely for older teens, because of what goes on in the story.

3.5 stars.

I have a few issues with the whole lifestyle of manga stories. I don't get some of it. I don't agree with some bits and some bits are quite cute. Therefore I'm giving this one 3.5 stars. The end bit perked it up a bit for me but other than that I was a bit "meh".

I will be continuing the series though.

Great Story And Fantastic Artwork!
This is the first time I have read any Manga and this particular comic/graphic appealed to me because of the fascinating description and I wanted to try something new that sounded entertaining.

I am very glad I chose “Star Collector” because it was so enjoyable to read. I think it was a great first choice for trying this genre because it had a straightforward story-line, which made it no bother for me to master the Manga style which needs to be read from right to left.

For me, the story was tender and sweet and the artwork was absolutely gorgeous. I could feel the characters’ emotions and each one had their own individuality and distinctiveness.

I can’t say much else on the quality of the artwork since I am not at all artistic but I did appreciate how the story progressed through the artwork as well as the dialogue.

I will definitely be reading Volume 2 in this series to see how their relationship progresses.

I would recommend this story to anyone who wants to try Manga and is after a quick and light-hearted read.

{Thank you to NetGalley and Diamond Book Distributors for the free copy of this novel and for giving me the opportunity to provide an honest review.}

I'm liking this manga, though the added extra of a nice girlfriend for our male lead is...irritating. It's always so much easier to want our lead girl to get the guy when the girlfriends a cruel person but she isn't, she's so nice. Nevertheless I am still rooting for them to get together, even if it takes a few volumes to get there.

Off to start Volume 3.

Assassination Classroom is a funny, quirky manga. The premise is that a classroom of academic misfits have been given the task of assassinating their monster homeroom teacher before the end of the year. They try each day, and train in different tactics, but continually fail because the monster evades them. At the same time, the monster is a caring, helpful teacher for his students. It's a odd and funny story. Looking forward to book 2!
