This is a documentary about identical twin brothers Alex and Marcus. Alex had an accident and completely lost his memory, and only recognised Marcus. Marcus helped Alex with his lost memories, unfortunately many of these memories were false and the lies were kept up for years. It may sound like a huge betrayal but when you watch you will understand why. Without spoiling it i went through many emotions, happy at first but as the story progressed i felt shocked and even angry at Marcus but by the end i just felt sad. It's worth a watch but prepare for the emotional rollercoaster.

Friends to Lovers
The second book in the Rules of the Game series features Alex and NHL ice hockey player Cole, who has been attracted to Alex from the start.
Alex is a paediatrician, who finds out her fiancée Marcus has been sleeping around. She confronts Marcus, gets the facts and then leaves.
Alex becomes friends with Cole, and over the duration of the book, the friendship becomes love. When Marcus finds out about the friendship he tries very much to get in the way.
This is an entertaining read, watching the development of friendship becoming more, with some heart warming moments. Its a quick and easy read for sports romance lovers. Cole is a likeable character, and you cant help but feel for Alex after her history with Marcus.

Marcus Whitmore was made a vampire in the eighteenth century. Over two hundred years later, he finds himself in love with Phoebe Taylor, a human who decides to become a vampire herself.
And with tradition enforcing separation from Marcus, Phoebe's transformation will prove as challenging now as it was for Marcus when he first encountered Matthew de Clermont, his sire.
Time's Convert moves with epic sweep from the battlefields of the American Revolutionary War, through the treachery of the French Revolution to a bloody finale in New Orleans.
This is one of my favourite books as it follows on from one of my favourite series The All Souls Trilogy!

Merissa (12128 KP) rated Her Guardian Angel (Her Angel: Eternal Warriors #1) in Books
Apr 10, 2023 (Updated Apr 10, 2023)
Marcus wants to be a warrior angel, protecting heaven. Instead, he is a guardian angel with cursed wings, overseeing his charge on Earth. Nothing could be further from what he wants. Amelia is his charge and has really bad taste in men. He has a flat near hers so that he can keep an eye on her although he's not entirely sure why. Things are not as they seem though and things soon hot up, both between Amelia and Marcus AND heaven and hell.
What they discover will challenge Marcus' beliefs in heaven and who and what Amelia thought she was. Luckily for them, there are 3 sets of Marcus' friends who are more than willing to help them.
I have to say, for me, I didn't really warm up to Amelia although I did have tears in my eyes at one point, but I think that was more for Marcus' reaction than what had happened to her. Marcus, I loved. I loved his reactions to the situations, how he felt, and even his rage. Amelia, meh, she's... okay, I just couldn't 'gel' with her. The story itself I thought was wonderful, still part of the series but can be read as a standalone. Looking forward to Her Demonic Angel, which is the next in this series

Subject B will do anything to get his life back. But the dead have other plans
Kidnapped by the brilliant Professor Worthe, Vietnam vet Marcus Holt is forced to take part in a sadistic experiment. Worthe's game has one objective: to see how much fear a man can survive. Now known as Subject B, Marcus is about to discover the answer to that question Whether he likes it or not.
Trapped in Worthes haunted village, Marcus and his team stumble across Subject H, a frightened young mother eager to reunite with her child. She soon becomes the target of a ghost drawn to her fear and anguish. A wrathful spirit that stalks them all from the shadows, waiting for a chance to wield his razor-sharp knifeto carve out the heart of any mother he can find
Marcus must call on every ounce of strength and courage to protect Subject H from the terror that hunts her. But even if they can escape Worthes latest horror, another enemy lurks in the village a deadly spirit Marcus has faced before.
This vicious ghost is about to end Worthes experiment once and for all By killing Marcus Holt.
I have read every single one of Ron Ripley's books and I love them all!!
I would definitely recommend these books to anybody who loves horror; these books are the ones for you.
I'm hoping there will be one more to give some closure to this one.
I get so involved with the characters that the ghosts are expected. I can't get enough!
The plot and pace are perfectly tuned.
Definitely recommend reading!
