Good action scenes (2 more)
Quite lighthearted
Links well after Capt America Civil War
A decent entry bringing Spiderman into the Marvel universe
A good film with some big action scenes and Michael Keaton does well as the villian. Ties in nicely with the Avengers films but maybe had too many references to them. I still prefer the first Spiderman film (2002) but this a good film overall.

I have always been of the opinion that Marvel had the best heroes and DC had the best villas, so a film full of villas sounded like a dream, unfortunately it wasn't. The best thing about the whole movie was Harley Quinn, as a character she dominated the entire film and all the other villas were pretty much superfluous. Not a great film, in fact not a very good film.

Such a fun movie!
Thor is reinvigorated with “Thor: Ragnarok”. After a not so stellar second solo movie, this is a welcome addition to not only the series of Thor movies, but Marvel movies as a whole. It looks great and the tone is so much fun. We see a very different side to the god of thunder in Ragnarok. With some help from his fellow revengers, this is a can not miss film.

Expectation was at an all time low given the amount of times this Marvel character has been rebooted and with the SJW agenda being given a huge push.
With that out of the way, I have to say I enjoyed it although Larson's character seemed to suffer from 'Mary Sue syndrome. The film seemed quite slow early on and went ballistic in the finale, End Game is going to be interesting indeed!

Great casting (3 more)
Ties into MCU
Great special effects
Iron Man
The only spider that shouldn't be killed!
Hands down the best Spiderman film ever produced. I am not going to go into plot because there is no need and it will spoil it. All you need to know is they have cast Peter Parker perfectly and there is a proper plot that ties into the whole of the Marvel universe.

Bumblebee (2018) is a once in a Gen-1 event: a good Transformers movie. #Review
It may seem something of an oxymoron, but “Bumblebee” is a genuinely good “Transformers” film. Now, I’m happy to admit I’m heavily biased, having grown up loving and watching and reading the Gen 1 toys, cartoon and Marvel comic series but my tinted glasses just make the rosy nostalgia of “Bumblebee” even rosier.

I don’t understand why this is a classic
This film isn’t bad per se but I find it bland, boring and lifeless.
It is heralded as a classic of kinds so it must be doing something right but unfortunately I just don’t see it.
However this film is a wonderful opportunity to marvel at the wonder that is Hugh Grant and his flippy floppy hair

Merissa (12874 KP) rated Night Shadow (Night Tales, #2) in Books

Take any Marvel hero and put him into a romance book and what do you get? A perfect escapist evening with a dark, brooding hero and a woman who has a mind and is not afraid to use it. I loved the twist this book has and it is the first of them that I have read, even though it is the second book in the series. Thoroughly enjoyable and definitely recommended.
