a dark and brooding masterpiece
when i first heard sowing season i knew i had stumbled upon something special, such a restrained piece of music with melancholy singing into these punk/indie esq guitars, it was unlike anything i heard at the time, not to say the rest of the devil and god follow this laid out path, but it's a very restrained piece of music, only letting it's restraint go at certain points for the ultimate moment or chorus, the masterpiece of this album has to go to limousine, it starts off slow with soft singing and acoustic guitars until the vocals and guitars kick in, after that it slows down again, letting the soft and passionate singing take centre to then build up to this brooding and beautiful catharsis that when it peaks is some of my favourite music ive ever heard, both conceptually and in practise, i encourage anyone who sees this to listen to the devil and god, it's a brooding masterpiece that surely won't disappoint

Without this movie, we couldnt have horror films today, without this movie, we couldnt have monster movies today, without this movie, horror movies wouldnt be the same. The Plot: In this highly influential silent horror film, the mysterious Count Orlok (Max Schreck) summons Thomas Hutter (Gustav von Wangenheim) to his remote Transylvanian castle in the mountains. The eerie Orlok seeks to buy a house near Hutter and his wife, Ellen (Greta Schroeder). After Orlok reveals his vampire nature, Hutter struggles to escape the castle, knowing that Ellen is in grave danger. It's amazing how a movie made so long ago can still enchant so thoroughly. I am still in awe every time it switches from black and white to color. It is just beautiful. The acting is great, the characters are excellent, the songs are fun, and I own a pair of ruby slippers at the age of 34 because of this masterpiece.

A total masterpiece. This book made me think about the question of which every one of us wants to know the answer - is it that good to live forever? I love the way the writer insists on telling both the positive and negative sides of leaving forever and staying forever young.. I know I won't stop thinking about this book in a while.

Incredible world building (1 more)
Intriguing characters
A beautifully written masterpiece. Morgenstern paints a visually tapestry every time you re-enter the circus. Jumping from timeline to timeline can cause confusion, but once that thread has been unravelled, the story grows. It also does take a while for the plot to really pick up, but stick with it. You will not regret.
