harmony and peace can be found when three destinies are one.

Emelia thought claiming her caster mate, Ronan, would bring her one step closer to the peaceful life she craves. She couldn't have been more wrong. Her mates are at each other's throats, and she hasn't been able to communicate with her father for weeks, not to mention that they are once again in hiding after the latest Council attack. No, her life is far from peaceful.

The prophecy states that Emelia will be the one to free them all; to bring harmony to the chaotic and divided supernatural community, but she knows she can't do it alone. She will need to trust her allies, old and new, as well as herself and her mates. But when the dust settles, will it be enough? Can she defeat the ruling Council and save the ones she loves?

The end of the prophecy is here, but is Emelia strong enough to be the savior she's meant to be?

This was a decent ending to what’s been a brilliant series. Xan for most of this book and others has drove me crazy so to see him finally get his act together was a sigh of relief. The only thing that kind of bugged me was the ending, it’s been so built up and long coming and it just seemed a little rushed. I think it deserved a bit more time than what it had. The Epilogue was just so cute though.

THE MAESTRO'S MATES is the third book in The Vampire Impresario series, but is classed as a standalone novel in an interconnected series. That said, I would recommend you read the previous books. I haven't, and it may have affected my enjoyment of their story.

Sebastian is a chaos witch, Justin is a vampire, and Pavel is a gargoyle. Each of them is facing a crisis - whether that is a sister who wants to take over their mother's coven, self-confidence, or the fact that they may be turning to stone permanently very soon. No matter, they're all having a moment!

This was a fast-paced story with a variety of subjects/tropes, but it just felt to me as though none of them were actually discussed properly, or dealt with either. The only one that was focused on was the infernal push and pull of whether or not they would be mates. I was at 85% and it still wasn't resolved, yet other parts that I would have loved more information on were just swept aside. For me, there was too much going on with not enough explanation or depth.

On the whole, this was a good read, but nothing that really rang my bell. I'm sure it will be loved by many, but it has just left me wondering if my review would have been different if I'd have read the others.

** Same worded review will appear elsewhere. **

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book; the comments here are my honest opinion. *

This was an interesting story for the Justice League crew. They are all being targeted and picked off, one by one. The killers are picking things that would hit each of theme where it hurts, knowing how to take them down with one hit. How do they do this? Batman.

This showcases Batman's need to know all of the ways his team mates work, and know how to ruin them. Though he claims it's for the good of the people, I think it's because he is insecure in his own lack of powers surrounded by people who are stronger than him.

All in all, this was an interesting comic and I think I need to read more about the flaws of Batman. If you have any recommendations, let me know!

Pride Mates ( shifters Unbound book 1)
By Jennifer Ashley

Defense attorney Kim Fraser has to venture into the dark and dangerous Shiftertown to get answers for a client accused of murder, but the secrets she learns from the enticing lips of Liam Morrissey might just get her killed if the lion shifter doesn't claim her for his mate.

This had been in my Tbr pile for so long and I finally got round to it. So glad I did! Having those shifters all collared up is pretty brutal! I enjoyed her take on shifter life it had a strong story and strong characters. I’m looking forward to seeing the new little shifter and finding how they all develop with the change in leadership! Definitely one for shifter lovers!!
