Cute book

This book is really cute. It’s a good story about friendship and adventure. Two best friends are told they can’t be friends anymore due to a fight between their mothers, so they decide to spend the summer living at an abandoned put put course. They meet new friends, learn more about themselves and each other. Would Recommend

DNF - Disappointed with the little bit that I read. I had hoped for something else something better but it was looking like a soap opera when I was hoping for more like a meet cute/hallmark romance story. I also didn't feel like reading more after the F bombs started. Oh well, I'll do read Christmas by Accident instead because that sounds much better to me.

I loved the cartoon as a kid, and I thought they did a great jobs on the movies. I actually like this one better than the first one. You learn the origins of Smurfette. You also meet 2 new characters Vexy and Hackus. It's a very cute and funny movie. The best part of the Smurfs movies is Hank Azaria he does an awesome job playing Gargamel.

A little too judgy for me.
I really wanted to like this book. It look quirky, cute, and absolutely adorable. Unfortunately, this did not meet my expectations. I felt that this book was just too judgy for me. I get what Tess Koman was trying to do, but I was bored with it by the fifth page. The illustrations were okay, and at times I did crack a slight smile. All in all, I was not impressed.

This was a very sweet short-story/novella that follows the story of two friends who lose touch for ten years before meeting again at one of their businesses. They quickly fall back into the friends rolls they used to have and phone each other regularly, meet up whenever they're both in town and flirt with each other.
I really liked it for the romance aspect. It was sweetly sexy with the dancing and the drinking and the flirting and the ending had me smiling like a loony because it was cute.

Light hearted action rom com spy caper (*phew* that's a mouthful!) starring Tom Cruise and a pre-retirement Cameron Diaz, with the former as a spy on the run having been framed for stealing the McGuffin, and with the latter as the woman he initially uses as a mule, in a manufactured 'meet cute' at an airport.
This is light and frothy (enjoyable) stuff and, yes, Tom Cruise does spend part of the film sprinting on his own: is that in his contract? "Must get at least one running scene"??

Beautiful and heartwarming
This beautiful short story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Vicki and Nicholas, both amazing people, both struggled with self-confidence for different reasons. Their meeting is a definite meet cute and is just the start of sweet story that combines romance and surprises.
This is perfect for a chilled out afternoon. By the end I was wanting more, I'd love to delve a little deeper, see where things go from where we left off.
I'm thrilled that this is part of the In Darkness series, more supernatural stories to enthrall and delight!

I struggled with this from the start. There was too much description at the start, which I understand but I'm not a fan of, then we meet Riley and I perked up at their interaction during the photography bit.
After that, I didn't feel anything for them and their budding romance, almost to the point of DNF'ing it up to the end but considering how short it was I thought I might as well finish it.
The ending was kinda cute but since I never really gelled with the story it was also rather meh.
Not a story I'll keep.

far too stinking cute/wam and fuzzies/low angst! Loved it!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
Sometimes, Ms Sayle writes dark and deadly, sometimes things are just plain weird (rhubarb!) and sometimes, they are so delightfully cute and warm and fuzzies that the world is a brighter place.
This book falls into the last category, and I bloody loved it!
Ollie and Beckett meet online, and their relationship blooms over time. But Ollie will not let Beckett see him properly. Ollie is scared that Beckett will catch one look at him and run far away. But Beckett is far deeper than Ollie thnks, and the boy just needs to give Beckett a chance to prove that. Leeson's wedding cruise is that time.
I loved that Ollie and Beck got to know each other over time, their feelings brewing for the better part of a year. It meant that when they did meet, it was more about getting Ollie to see just how much he meant to Beckett, and how much Beckett wanted to be Ollie's Daddy, if only he'd let him.
I loved that there was overlap with Denton and Vic's book, Cruising Right Into Love. This book takes place alongside that one, on the cruise.
I loved how the focus of this book was NOT about the physical side of their relationship, but more about the emotional one. There is smexy times, but I found them very much low key and fade to grey, rather than up-in-yer-face type scenes. Loved it, to be honest.
This is part of the 3rd A Little Christmas series, a multi author series. I haven't read the others, but it's not necessary to really enjoy this one.
So much love in this book, and it hits all the warm and fuzzies and too stinking cute and low angst spots and I bloody loved it!

is anyone else just TIRED of the "i'm engaged to the Worst Person Alive and won't do anything about it until i meet this down to earth single person who makes me feel like i've never felt before but i'm gonna lead them on until i'm finally fed up with how my fiance treats me and everyone else" plot? what is it with movies that feature engaged people that just stops them from being in a relationship with decent people, and the movie doesn't end with the engaged person dumping their fiance for the one they met like a week ago?
regardless, this movie is kind of cute. it features a great dynamic between the main character, Ellie, and her father as well as a friendship to strive toward (her father and uncle Zeke). it's a very sweet story, and despite my little rant up top, i did enjoy it. it's heart warming, entertaining, and the ending had me tearing up a little bit?
