Mainly aimed at the teenage market not for someone in their mid fifties, but it is quite funny in places and of course the girl gets the boy at the end. Good film to watch on a miserable afternoon but will be forgotten about in a few days so not memorable.

Rolling Stone's 416th greatest album of all time
This was a real struggle. A dreary load of songs. Waits' voice just makes me want to clear my throat and cough. Lucky I wasn't listening to this while out on a walk, everyone would have been given me a wide steer!

Poor, plain Jane was never truly loved. Orphaned and left to live with her miserable aunt and cousins is shipped off to school.
