Murder Crosses Tribal Lines
It’s early December on the Navajo reservation. Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn, who works for the Navajo Tribal Police, has been called to work on a case involving two missing boys. There is a huge pool of blood at the last place they were scene. One of them, a Navajo, was seen the next morning and is wanted as a witness, although some suspect he might be the killer. The other is a Zuni youth, and that just complicates the case for Leaphorn since that tribe has their own police department. As Leaphorn investigates further, he finds many things that just don’t add up for him. Can he make sense of it, find the missing boys, and catch a killer before the killer strikes again?

Leaphorn is much more of the main character this time around, but we still haven’t met Chee. It’s interesting to see how this series evolves over time. The mystery is strong here, especially since there is a thriller element to it that kept me engrossed. I did feel the discussion of Navajo culture slowed things down at times; those passages can be a double-edged sword. Still, this is a book that fans old and new will find entertaining.

something missing but I don't know what!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarain, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is part of the Naughty or Nice season three series and can be read as a stand alone to all the other books.

I like my books heavier on the BDSM side, and I'm a fan of the Daddy/little dynamics. For the most part. But something about THIS book doesn't quite work for me, and I've no idea what! So, I'm just gonna leave it at that!

What I DID like, was that what Ziv does was never made fully clear! Oh the hints and clues are there, it says some legal and some not so, but never just WHAT, you know? I was expecting him to be some sort of super secret do-gooder! He's not, but he does throw his money about to get what he wants, and who he wants!

I love that we catch up with Patrick and Akker (Agrippa My Heart) and Jessie and Smithy( His Boy To Tease) The trio of friends are now happy with their Daddies, and all loved up, and I love that they are.

Steamy and smexy, but missing *something* but I don't know what!

3 stars

Treasure, a Ghost Story, and a Locked Room Murder
Jaya Jones is thrilled when her favorite author, Rick Coronado, asks her to look at his new manuscript. The chapters she receives are about a murder in a locked room in a haunted mansion and a missing statue. Her instincts that there is more to the story prove accurate when she starts making connections to a murder that happened seven years ago. But another death ups the stakes. Can Jaya separate fact from fiction and find the killer and the missing statue?

If that description seems a bit complicated, don’t worry, the book lays everything out very easily. There are multiple twists that up the stakes along the way. It takes some concentration, but things do make sense at the end. While I do wish we saw more of one of the supporting characters, I really liked a subplot involving Jaya’s personal life. While the book is set at Christmas, the holiday vibes are minimal. The new characters are good for their roles in the book. I felt like I was traveling along with Jaya as we visit Paris and Cambodia before the story is over. This is another page turning novel that is hard to put down.

A fitting final part
There's no getting around it, this book and it's religious plot is completely bonkers, but fortunately in a good way. This final part works very well, it flits between the views of major characters with ease, all interesting their own way. It's good to see Lyra mature, and to see more of some characters that were sadly minor/missing in The Subtle Knife.
My only criticism would be that the ending seemed maybe slightly disappointing after the build up over 3 books. I'm interested to see how this is rectified in the new Book of Dust trilogy.

I do like this film, i would not rush to watch it again however. I feel this is a one time watch enjoyment, not the kind of film you can watch on repeat.
It was very dramatic and powerful with great scenes, but something was missing.

If your not watching you are seriously missing out.
Game of Thrones is one of those few shows that seriously lives up to all the hype, while it can drag on a bit at times which is to be expected when you have so many main characters, not all of which you like or care about you do get an amazing story that while massive is really fun to watch.

For me, the standout for the show is the costumes they are all so breathtakingly designed and unique to the shows world I could watch this show just to watch the costumes.

Hard to follow
Tough
I took quite a while to finish this book, I had to have a couple of breaks from it. I'm not sure if it's because it's quite old and the style of writing is hard to understand but I found this quite hard to follow. It seems to jump from characters and there's alot of quotation marks missing when needed, again this may be because the book itself was written a long time ago. The actual story is amazing and Oskar risked his entire life to save so many people.

A nice close to the Rogue series, if, and I hate be redundant, a bit unoriginal. The characters were nice, there were some funny moments, and the plot was good, but it didn't touch me like other romances do. However, I did like the whole Christmas thing at the end, it was cute if rather saccharine.

One of my main problems was that this series must have the worst editors. In all four books there are missing quotation marks, sentences that aren't clear, and misspelled/or forgotten words. I would hope that these would be minimal.

I have been using this app ever since i opened my etsy store last year.
It has helped me to keep on top of orders, easily view upcoming dispatch dates and quickly view what funds are available for transfer.
The app is updated regularly and additional features are added. However, the kerching sound that is supposed to happen when an order comes through has been missing for some time following a previous update.
