Especially the woods surrounding the town of Fir Haven. Some say these woods are magical. Haunted, even.
Rumored to be a witch, only Nora Walker knows the truth. She and the Walker women before her have always shared a special connection with the woods. And it’s this special connection that leads Nora to Oliver Huntsman—the same boy who disappeared from the Camp for Wayward Boys weeks ago—and in the middle of the worst snowstorm in years. He should be dead, but here he is alive, and left in the woods with no memory of the time he���d been missing.
But Nora can feel an uneasy shift in the woods at Oliver’s presence. And it’s not too long after that Nora realizes she has no choice but to unearth the truth behind how the boy she has come to care so deeply about survived his time in the forest, and what led him there in the first place. What Nora doesn’t know, though, is that Oliver has secrets of his own—secrets he’ll do anything to keep buried, because as it turns out, he wasn’t the only one to have gone missing on that fateful night all those weeks ago.
This was an interesting little YA read and an easy one to get along with. A young Walker(witch) finds a book in the almost enchanted forest that is her home. She’s waiting to find her power and hoping she does actually have one. It’s a little predictable if honest but still a good little read.

Great mindless fun but sadly just didn't live up to the original.
I keep bouncing between a 7 and 8 rating but after some of the shit that was pulled and I'm still upset about it's getting a 7.
Okay don't get me wrong Golden Circle was a fun movie with the same over the top violence as the first one but to me it felt like parts of the movie were missing for some reason and after seeing it I found out the apparently the original cut was like 3 1/2 hours long and to me it really did feel like they left out a fair bit of the story and a hell of a lot of the character development.
But hey Elton John was fabulous and the fight scenes were fucking Ace!

Quantity not quality
I've had Libby for two weeks now and I've managed to read five of my TBR books on the list - not too bad for a library app. It's easy to use, with a clean interface, and clearly there's a huge stock of works in the system.
The issue now is the fact that I cannot find any other books that I would like to read, and I'll have to wait for another month to get my next book on hold. There are very few new books, and it seems to be missing writings from prominent authors such as James Baldwin, Angela Davis and George Saunders. It is all dependent on how well your local library functions which can be problematic. It seems to be a postcode lottery.
The issue now is the fact that I cannot find any other books that I would like to read, and I'll have to wait for another month to get my next book on hold. I really enjoyed this, i can't wait until it is release so i can watch it again,
I loved that i never found it boring, I hated the zords however, they were not as bright and as impressive as they have been in the tv shows.
And my favourite part has always been when they combined, but the combination in the film was missing and this ruined the end for me!
I can tell that this was actually a good film by the reaction of my wife, she didnt want to see it and came out saying how much it surprised her and how she actually really enjoyed it!

Watched last night it's not bad not one of the best doctor who's from the sixties due to the budget but we will get to that but first the story. For years this and many other who's had been missing from the BBC archive due to alot of episodes being junked destroyed especially the macra terror where it's been totally destroyed till now. Now a new audience can watch it for the first as an animated feature and it looks good the acting from Patrick troughton is getting into his stride finally after five adventures with support from his companions. Now to the macra they look so much more now scary than they did originally due to budget hope some day they will animate more lost who's we can dream

The night ends with tragedy when Katie finds the owner murdered. With Tessa missing, Katie must figure out what is really going on. Can she do it?
I’m not a wine drinker, but I completely enjoyed this debut. Tessa could be a bit much at times, but I liked her at others. I was bothered by how much the detective included Katie in the investigation, but overall I completely enjoyed this book. The story moved forward quickly, and Katie is a great main character. I can’t wait to revisit her.

Bog-standard action runaround is lifted enormously by proper, non-pneumatic performance from Alicia Vikander as Crofty. Feisty heiress goes in search of missing dad, ends up on desert island with hissable bad guys and tomb; soon there is much running down collapsing corridors and many death-defying leaps.
Vikander keeps it real and plays Croft as a proper human being, and is the main - probably only - reason to watch an otherwise undistinguished film. Bad guys are dull, good guys too; special effects are okay but nothing really special. I suppose it's somewhat notable for the way it keeps the audience guessing about what genre it's going for. Still, much more fun than watching either of the Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider movies, but then so is sawing off your own feet.

A must see
The style of this film is really unique. The viewer is watching as if they are behind a computer screen. Margot is a 16 year old girl that has gone missing, and the viewer gets follow her dads online investigation as if they were the one looking for her. This movie has you on the edge of your seat with all its twists and turns. It can also be emotional at times, as Morgot's dad starts to unravel. Her dad feels like a very realistic character, and he's reactions make you hurt for any parent who has ever been in this situation. I think the style of this movie makes a lot of people afraid to watch it, but sitting through this movie is not something you will regret.
