Great to have
This application really helps me when I am shopping in a store. I often find exactly what I am looking for in the app instead of trying to place an order at a store I may never return to. With tons of items available, I often am able to find what I need no matter where I am. It also allows me to check my wishlists so when I am unable to get on my computer, I can access them from the comfort of my phone or tablet. I also find this useful when I am surfing through Facebook and find a book for my kindle in my feed as it takes me straight to the app and allows me to read reviews, ge a gist of the book, or allows me to purchase it. The app also allows me to manage any subscriptions I have through Amazon, which makes life easy when I don't feel like booting up my computer. The only thing I don't like about the app, and the may just be my phone itself, is scanning in my credit cards, because it doesn't always appear properly in the app as it should. However it ito is extremely useful to use and easy to use on your mobile device.

Concerted effort required to make sure everyone takes a role, as too easy for players to just listen to one player narrating and leading the game. (0 more)
Chronicles of Crime by Lucky Duck Games is an amazing co-operative game that incorporates QR codes, to be scanned by a mobile phone, VR technology to see crime scenes in 3D, and a board with locations. Therefore this game not only marries technology with traditional gaming, but does this without being tacky or a gimmick! Originally this game was launched via Kickstarter, but I believe this will have hit general release with a few expansions already. The stories are engaging and the game very enjoyable. I must say, the crime scenes are quite sobering and grim, therefore not for children but an amazing experience for adults. The way the game is structured, Lucky Duck can continue to publish new cases, using the characters and locations on the boards you already have, resulting in a potential for continued play beyond the stories contained in the box. I thoroughly recommend this game at a player count of 2-3...more than this, I think it may become a little boring for additional players.

Facebook fame
Facebook has been around for years and has become one of THE biggest social media platforms of the 21st century. You won't find many people that do not have an account and becomes almost the new socialisation. Yes... there are bad points to social media... lack of human interaction, online bullying has become a big problem, becoming dependant on mobile devices. But I have found with being away from family and friends, a comfort to keep in touch and up to date with what is going on. (I am one of these people that are terrible for keeping in contact) so it's comforting to be able to just click open my Facebook and see my little nieces growing up and brothers doing what they do best. Watching my friends grow and become the amazing people they have always been. The features of Facebook are getting better as it grows. Having your own ability to create groups and pages especially for small businesses, the fun little way of using a short snippet of a video for your profile picture. So yes I do prefer face to face interaction but with apps like Facebook becoming a more prominent part of day to day life, why not enjoy it!!

Why can't all cavemen look like that?
Contains spoilers, click to show
I saw this movie for the first time when I was about ten years old. I was really into dinosaurs at the time and the idea of digging up a caveman in my backyard thrilled me about as much as finding One Eyed Willie. There is something innocently fun about movies made in the 80s and as silly as the plotline for this one is, the movie is still my absolute favorite.

Two nerdy, loner, high school seniors decide to dig a pool in one of their backyards in hopes of throwing a big party after prom and landing the most popular girl in school. What they didn't expect was to come across a caveman frozen inside a solid mass of ice who they thaw out using space heaters in their garage. After coming home to find their house trashed, they come face to face with a very not dead 1,000,000 year old man ... Or teenager. Makeover montage ensues, giving us the newly minted (not so missing) 'Link'. Boys take Link to school, Link wins over everyone, boys remain unpopular.

This movie is worth watching at least once just to see Pauly wheeze the juice and Brendan dance around like a crazy person.

Adrian's Bodyguard (Vampires of Vadin #1) by Shelby Rhodes
Adrian's Bodyguard is the first book in the Vampires of Vadin series, and we start off with the vampire King himself, nearly 10,000-year-old Adrian. He survives an assassination attempt, and is more concerned about the hole in the wall, than his safety. Others are more concerned though, and he ends up with a bodyguard that he wants, but doesn't want! Xavier does his best to be professional around Adrian, but the tension between them just makes things hotter. Plus the fact, Xavier can't quite control his impulses to wind Adrian up.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mixture of contemporary and other-realm magic. They have cars, not run on fossil fuels, obviously!, and mobile phones, but magic is also an everyday act. The two joining together was great to read, and I loved it. There were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow, and I loved the dynamic between our two main characters. So many characters I would love to hear about now, first and foremost Asher and Kaiden!!!

Absolutely recommended by me.
