A modern psych institution horror story
Hold on to your hats, this isn't your typical haunted asylum story. The main characters, all teens, investigate the mental hospital where they've been institutionalized. The lines between what is real and what isn't are hard to see. The characters are diverse, three-dimensional and much more than their diagnoses. The writers care about representing mental illness accurately and respectfully, and donate to different mental health organizations.

A fairly decent low budget indie thriller. I didn't expect much having not heard of it, but it was ok and I did find the ending quite different. As with most films of this type there are countless occasions in the film that leave you thinking no one would do that, what you would do different in that situation. This film loses a bit of credibility because of that. Otherwise it's a decent modern thriller.

This is a different take on vampires in modern day. This book was published when vampire novels/movies were the big thing. It was more about the family, with vampirism thrown in. I liked the way the chapters were broken up, and the story was great.
This book ended my 3 book Matt Haig reading streak, and I think this was my favorite of the three. I definitely can recommend this one.

Still singing the songs many months later! Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron both give outstanding performances, while the supporting cast of singers will make you laugh, sigh and weep. A feel good family musical with an uplifting message of acceptance and love - heard in every song on the OST. Powerful chords, moving lyrics and strong voices give these tracks the motivational sound I look for in a modern musical!

Robin Hood (2018) updates the legend to The Fast & The Feudal #Review
Unnecessary? Yes. Historically inaccurate? Ridiculously so. Fun? Absolutely, you miserable bunch. 2018’s “Robin Hood” sets out to put a modern #OccupySherwood spin on the age-old tale of the redistribution of medieval wealth and taken on its own bonkers terms, there’s a lot of fun to have with this bombastic fast and feudal’ adventure yarn....

Fun take on Tycoon style game (2 more)
Comedic value; fun, light humour
Good strategy involved
Can be monotonous (1 more)
Limited story
If you are a fan of Theme Hospital, this is perfect for you, as this is effectively a modern-day remake of that game. If you like Tycoon games, I would recommend this game. Any game that has good, light humour is worth a try, in my opinion. You can't go far wrong with this.

I love this musical so much! The songs are well written and well produced. It’s amazing the way they’ve put such a modern twist on a musical based on historical events. I have to say that I prefer the more upbeat songs on the album and usually skip “Heart of Stone” and “I don’t need your love”, but they are still fantastic songs. I can’t wait to go and see the musical next week!
