"I like The Shining. There’s just so many things about composition and breaking the mold, the innovative steady-cam work and the character and the performances, and the master behind it putting it together, Stanley Kubrick, who I love."

I absolutely loved this sequel. I was so hoping that it would be worth watching and it definitely was. Ryan Reynolds broke the mold playing Deadpool, he was so good that nobody else would have been right for it. If you havent seen it, do it!!! I promise you wont regret it!!

Dark, but necessary
When Society throws out the people who don't fit the mold, action/reaction! This film was a dramatic reflection of real life. The poor and mentally impaired are considered as bad as the trash piling up on the streets. The rich make the rules. Eventually, someone does snap and sparks a revolution.

Another outstanding entry in the Brig-verse. When you tell me zombies are feature players, I inwardly groan a little as it's not a genre that typically fits the Doctor Who (or Lethbridge-Stewart) mold, and instead feels like a Walking Dead fan trying to insert his fan fic into someone else's sandbox. Not so here, as there's a certain logic and working science to the proceedings that makes all misgivings go away. The story is fast-paced and nicely told. Despite William Bellman's humble beginnings, his intelligence, hard work and business acumen made a success out of everything he touches. However, much like the rooks that dance in the skies, death was always swooping in and out of his life.

This haunting tale is a truly compelling read and Setterfield is a very exciting talent. She has the ability to mold and shape a story together with her characters and settings that all blend in together to make one, complete vibrant picture. Alexia oh how I love thee
Alexia is a true heroine and independant woman! I love her sense of adventure and fashion. She is spunky, sassy and intelligent showing that u dont have to be in the cookie cutter mold to be attractive to a guy like Lord Maccon. They are such a good pair together and compliment each other great. The character development Ms. Carriger gives to each and every character even down to the kind of shoes they had on, or sometimes lack there of is extraordinary. This new story line of the super-natural is superb.

The Rock (1996)
The Rock (1996)
1996 | Action
There was a period during the late 90s, early 90s, where Nice Cage was in full action hero mode.

We're talking the likes of National Treasure, Con-Air, Face/Off. And this, his first entry in that mold from 1996.

Also starring Sean Connery in a Bind-in-all-but-name role, this sees Cage playing the part of an FBI chemical expert who has to accompany Connery and US Marines on a mission to infiltrate Alcatraz (Connery's role being as the only man to ever escape from said prison) after a group of disillusioned Marines - led by Ed Harris - seize control of the island and have chemical weapons pointing at San Francisco.

I think this may be the first Michael Bay film I ever saw; looking back on it now I can see that, even back then, it has all the hallmarks of one of his films!
