Molly's sometimes boyfriend Daniel is arrested for police corruption, which is crazy despite the evidence against him. Molly, naturally, tries to clear his name. This book is great for characters development of both Molly and Daniel not to mention a great mystery.

Children seem to sometimes have a difficult time with change. Are you planning to move to a new place with a child or children? This book named "The Adventures of Molly and Ollie: Moving Day" by Sally Beale may be a book to pick up.

This book deals with changes. It seems like it deals with emotions a child or children may express. They find that maybe things will not be so different after all. Who is Ollie? You will be surprised at what he does? There seems to be a conversation between Ollie and Molly about her moving to a new house? Will Molly warm up to her new bedroom and the place she moved to?

This sweet plot deals with change and moving away. I enjoy the way the pictures remain made; They are colorful and magical. Children will enjoy the images. How does Molly get her room unpacked? You will be surprised and enjoy it. I know children will want this book to read to them and reread to them.

Parents might want to have this book on the child or children's bookshelves for fun. But will help with your child's emotions on moving and dealing with change. Meeting someone new may help with making it easier to move to a new house and town. I can not wait to read more of The adventures of Molly and Ollie. I wonder what Molly and Ollie deal with in book 2.

Molly is asked to investigate two spiritualists who are preying on a Senator's family. However, when she arrives, she finds plenty of danger and a second mystery. This was the book that turned me into a full fledged Molly fan. I love the characters, and the multi-layered plot kept me turning pages.

Molly’s Back!
It’s February 1907, and Molly Murphy Sullivan’s life has settled into the busyness of everyday life for a wife and mother. However, she feels the desire to return to her old life as a detective when her husband, New York Police Captain Daniel Sullivan, comes home with tales of his latest case. Seems a young woman newly arrived from Ireland has been accused of murder on Ellis Island. Molly can’t help but make the connection to when she first arrived several years before. Can she find out what really happened?

It's been years since we last visited with Molly, and I have missed her. Within pages, it was like no time had passed. Unfortunately, some of the bad remained, like how Daniel can run hot and cold, especially when it comes to Molly’s investigation. I get that it is accurate for the time, but can he grow out of it, please? However, there are other times I loved his character. Molly is her usual strong self, and the supporting players are as fun as always. The pacing was a little uneven early on, but it got much stronger as it went along. The solution was perfectly logical and wonderfully page turning. I hope we haven’t heard the last of Molly.

Hooked On Murder By: Betty Hechtman
Cozy Mystery 280 pages
Setting: Tarzana, California

I just love quick and fun mysteries. This book was one of those. I gave this book 4 stars. It is the first book in a series but not the first one I have read of hers. I have read this series out of order. It was nice to finally know somethings about the main character.
The main character is Molly Pink and she is a widow. Her husband left her in a good position so that she didn't have to work if she didn't want to. She has decided to go work and she works at a book store as an event coordinator. One of the events she has is a crocheting club, which she doesn't know how to do at the beginning of the book. The main leader in this group is murder and who finds her. You guess it it is Molly. You learn about the crochet leader and Molly in this book. One of the detectives is dating Molly and the other has it out for her because she wants Molly boyfriend. Did Molly kill the crochet leader? What about the boyfriend issue.I am afraid to go into a lot of detail because I don't want to spoil it for you.
At the back of the book the author gives you a recipe and a crochet pattern. I always like the little extras.
I hope you read this book and the rest of the series. They are fun.

Molly and Daniel are off on their honeymoon, but their dream trip to Newport turns bad when Daniel gets sick and the family of the estate where they are staying shows up. And that's before the body appears. I always enjoy spending time with Molly, and sickness certainly softened Daniel. But I felt the climax to the mystery was weak.

New immigrant Molly Murphy has decided to take on a job as a private investigator. Somehow, she talks Riley into mentoring her. However, when he is murdered, Molly is on her own trying to find out what happened to him. Another great visit to 1901 New York, this one introduces more series regular characters and is stronger than the debut in the series.

Unfortunately, I Have a Bone to Pick with This Debut
Molly Madison and her dog have relocated to Pier Point, California, and she is looking forward to starting all over. However, she has not completely unpacked before a dog she is dog sitting uncovered a hand in the sand of a nearby beach. With the police looking at Molly as a suspect because of a scandal in her past, she has to figure out what is going on. But if she doesn’t even know her neighbors, can she do that?

I picked up this book because of the Southern California setting, and I loved that. Even though Pier Point is fictional, I could easily picture it. I also enjoyed meeting Molly and the rest of her neighbors. They are slightly eccentric, but not so over the top that they didn’t still feel real. There are plenty of dogs, and they are equally charming. Unfortunately, the pacing of the book is very off. It was slow in the beginning, focusing on Molly settling into her new life. The ending, while logical, was rushed. That kept me from fully enjoying what was a promising debut.
