Mothergamer (1598 KP) rated the PlayStation 4 version of Monster Hunter World in Video Games

Areas are beautiful, exciting monster battles, great gameplay (0 more)
Fun Adventure With Friends
The game is so much fun to play. It's more fun playing with friends and working as a team to take down monsters. The different areas are beautiful and fun to explore. Gathering resources is pretty straightforward and you can craft items and armor. While the gameplay doesn't hold your hand every step of the way, it is very well done. There's always something to do and it's great doing it all with friends and other players.

Evan and Bronwen are off to meet each other's family's. Their first stop is Mrs. Evans, and they stumble into a case with ties to Evan's family past. The man who killed Evan's father is arrest for another crime, only this time Evan thinks he's innocent. Can he prove it without alienating his mother? This book is missing much of the charm of the earlier ones in the series since the wonderful supporting players aren't in the book. A bit more serious, too.

Life of the Party (2018)
Life of the Party (2018)
2018 | Comedy
Full review here:

Life of the Party has some good moments sprinkled throughout and is helped by a solid performance by Melissa McCarthy. That being said, it suffers thanks to a script that is so focused on trying to be funny that it misses the opportunity to tell the story it should have told. A mother attending the same college as her daughter should be rife with potential, but it sidesteps that so much that it's almost an afterthought. It's a shame too as there was a great movie here somewhere, it's just hidden among so much mediocrity that its impossible to find.

Kylie and Bailey Brandt vanish from a shopping mall parking lot while their mother is buying a birthday present. Single mom Jamie quickly realizes that the overworked local police department is not the best option for finding her daughters, so she hires former bounty hunter Alice Vega, famous for finding missing people. Vega partners up with ex-cop/private investigator Max “Cap” Caplan to find the sisters. The result is a tense, twisty ride that I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved Alice Vega, she reminded me of Lisbeth Salander: tougher than battery acid, but completely awkward at personal interaction. I’m really looking forward to more books featuring her character.
