This entire book gives a real sense what it was like to live in the 60s and it has a bit if everything killing love loss mystery murder I would highly recommend this book to anyone I have read the book listened to the audio and watched the series

They have been calling this "Water for Elephants meets The Night Circus." Since I've never read either of those books, I could enjoy it for what it is - historical fiction, woman's murder mystery with a touch of magical realism. It's a bit of a slow burn, but the entire cast is excellent with their performances and kept me invested. Christian Bale and Harry Melling play well off each other. Melling as Poe impressed me. I enjoyed the murder mystery aspect of it and the reveal at the end was great. Overall, I enjoyed the film.
