It got Adventures (2 more)
It a Thriller as well
It a mystery and murder as well
Are you looking for an adventurous, thriller fun mystery book?
Are you looking for an adventurous, thriller fun mystery book? Well, Westobou Gold has just about all of it and more. I was brought into the book though an Indian tribe leader. There more to this story and to all the murders. What are Pervis and his crew up to other than underage porn?
The story is about a man named Craige and his love. Will Craige solve the mysteries of the murders that he is brought in by a former member named Bailey? What could Bailey want or his bosses?
We see what Pervis and his crew and Mort Raymond deal with. Pervis is part of the action mostly. If you want to know who comes out a winner, then you need to read the book. I do suggest that children do not read this book without their parent's consent. There are murders involved and some sex tape scenes. I would say this is a book for children ages 15 and up. This is my opinion.
There is crime throughout the book. What can an Indian Queen be an at of with all this and the murders? Hawk MacKinney gives you an exciting and thriller book. You will want to follow Craige and see if he makes it out or who the top dog. Pervis seem to want Craige Instagram out of the picture. What could they be trying to hide?

Eleanor (1463 KP) rated Eight Perfect Murders (Rules for Perfect Murders - UK) in Books

Mystery Homage
This book had such a great premise and was a lot of fun to read. Part thriller and part homage to mystery books classic through to the more obscure. It was handy to have the GoodReads page to hand to check out any books mentioned that I wasn't familiar with.
The owner, Malcolm Kershaw, of the mystery book shop "Old Devils" writes blogs for the shop's blog. The blog entry that this book relates to is the list of "Perfect Murders" where he gives examples of books with what he considers to be perfect murders in them. When an FBI agent turns up on the doorstep theorising someone is using his list as a guide, Malcolm can't help but get himself involved in the investigation.
I read this under what I presume is the UK title: "Rules for Perfect Murders" and loved all the book name drops; for an avid mystery/thriller reader it was a great kick. The ending was slightly anticlimactic for me but the story itself is a quick exciting read with plenty of nice little twists.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC in return for an honest review.

A long boring episode of Murder She Wrote
John Le Carre is well known for his mystery novellas however this one doesn't seem to reach the bar. It felt like reading a long winded episode of Midsomer Murders. It was fairly pedantic and obvious and barely engaging but shorter than a usual Le Carre book.

Crystal (9 KP) rated The Wicked Boy: The Mystery of a Victorian Child Murderer in Books

This was a very descriptive, intriguing read. It kept my interest and I enjoyed it. I find it interesting that at one point Penny Dreadfuls are blamed for young male crimes (suicides, murders, etc) similar to how Video Games are sometimes still blamed today. Before that was Metal music, Horror movies, Rock n' Roll, etc.
