Loz Hughes (80 KP) rated Hannibal - Season 1 in TV

Im generally a self proclaimed wuss and cant watch horror or psychological thrillers and while this series wouldnt be classed as those sometimes the murders really turned my stomach but the acting is superb and the character builds are great. It really adds to the book series and although im quite squeamish with some of it, I will keep watching the following series because I am fascinated with the relationship between Hannibal and Will. Its like a big game of cat and mouse but the mouse is really a wolf in sheeps clothing ?

Having enjoyed the first Melissa Craig instalment I was eager to get into the follow up. I found this instalment, which begins where the previous book concluded, to be more entertaining than the first. However, this could be due to reading them both in order and in the same week – I would definitely suggest reading them in order and together as I did.
Whilst the book focuses on a new crime the characters involved were developed in the first instalment and I assume will continue through the ongoing series.
This series will be enjoyed by those who enjoy Midsomer Murders, Agatha Raisin and Father Brown type of mystery!
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated Sleepy Hollow (1999) in Movies

Johnny depp in this movie, he seemed like he was tired, drunk, mysterious, and overall wired. Its always when him and tim burton collbrate.
The plot: police constable Ichabod Crane (Depp) sent from New York City to investigate a series of murders in the village of Sleepy Hollow by a mysterious Headless Horseman.
If you look on the back of the dvd cover it spoils that christohper walken is the headless horseman. His name is not at the beginning of the credits because of tim didnt want you to know he was in the film.
It has a great supporting cast : Christina Ricci, Michael Gambon, Jeffery Jones, Christopher Lee and Michael Gough.
I think overall sleepy hollow is a underrated horror jem directed by Tim Burton.
