Good Read, became very repetitive towards the end
This book really did give me an insight into how our NHS is being run into the ground. A business (and that is what the NHS is) that is run by senior leaders who do not care about the workers. This highlighted this on numerous occasions and was really sad to see and hear. If people red the book who had been thinking about joining the NHS they may now have had a change of heart.
Adam's anecdotes and stories are fantastic, what some people do for sex :) is concerning.
I really enjoyed who Adam took us through a journey and a rollercoaster of emotions. It is a shame that him and probably so many others are leaving the profession because of being under paid and over worked.
At the end of the book it felt that the stories did become very similar and therefore lost its shock value. But it was however an interesting read and I would recommend to friends.

Humorous, insightful and fascinating
We all know about the NHS and doctors and hospitals, yet I'm sure for the majority of us that don't work in this sector, we don't have the slightest idea what goes on in reality.
Adam Kay's book is a fascinating insight into the NHS and the real working life of a doctor. It's ridiculously funny, emotional, heartwarming and also depressing to think this is the state of our health service. I dare you to read this and not feel anything. You can't say a bad word about the NHS after reading this (not that I ever did). I feel glad that Adam has provided such an insightful and thought provoking view of the NHS. I shed a tear when I reached the end and I would have quite happily read a lot more of his stories and anecdotes, they're fascinating.
A must read for anyone in the UK.

Another amazing insight into the true life of an NHS midwife. It makes me sad to gear how understaffed they are and this unfortunately leads to qualified midwives withdrawing from the occupation. They definitely need more awareness!

A truely moving first hand account of what happens within the NHS. The daily struggles faced not only by the inidividuals who are doctors but families aswell.
Heartbreakingly funny at points and the realism hits and the most unexpected times.
A wonderful readig experience documented to absolute perfection.

Hacked!
I don't know if many of you have been keeping up with the news but I'm sure you've heard of the cyber attack which has rendered the NHS useless.
That's why I think this is the perfect time to release this review.
Cyber Security is fast becoming one of the biggest risks to all organisations and we hear about security breaches daily.

Twas The Nightshift Before Christmas
This is Going to Hurt was brilliant. It was hilarious and heartbreaking in equal measure sometimes at the same time. Like Adam Kay said, that was his Lp and thus his EP. It's more of the same just shorter and of the Christmas theme and its brilliant. You can't help be in awe of our NHS staff.
