Fabulous retelling of Norse mythology
Neil Gaiman is a genius and his version of Norse mythology is riveting and exciting. It seems to be an important part of our modern culture again so it is only natural that Gaiman brings it back to the forefront. Epic and interesting.

My first audiobook!
I listened to this as an audiobook, read by Neil Gaiman himself, and it was so good! At the same time believable and fantastical, just the kind of story that I really enjoy. The more Gaiman I read, the more I think he's a storytelling genius!

An enjoyable read. There are a lot of great stories in here and Neil Gaiman does an excellent job of telling them. Before I knew it, I had stayed up most of the night reading because the stories were that interesting.

We have always wondered, Neil tells us the answer.
I love a good epic book, I love a good story which has the various Gods in. Neil Gaiman gives us Godsand Godesses from all different cultures, they are friends and enemies, and they are not doing much now.
What a fantastic idea, Gaiman pulls it off superbly. His weird style of writing is a great fit to follow the journey of Shadow and Wednesday. It's a journey well worth telling and well worth reading.
Gaiman is not everyone's cup of tea, even if he is not yours you will enjoy this. If he is yours, why have you not read it yet?

Well hmmm. I started reading this book not quite sure what to expect. Like a few of the reviews I've seen, I too thought it started off a tad slow & a bit off. But somewhere in the middle I got hooked. Not quite sure when or where or even why, but at some point it got very interesting. It was hard to follow & suddenly it made sense. Weird, I know. But apparently that's just Neil Gaiman being Neil Gaiman. The ending tied everything together well. I think I may even give another of his books a try!

This book has solidified the fact that I really just don't like Neil Gaiman as an author. The story was ok, nothing to write home about. It was kind of amusing? I'm really trying to be nice, but I don't have anything more to say.
