Auburn (57 KP) rated 99% Faking It in Books

Fake it till you make it and let your nerd flag fly. This book is everything a nerdy bookish girl could ever dream of. The plot is simple but for anyone who dreams of a nerdy happily ever after this is a one sitting read. References to popular book stores and fandoms make it that much more enjoyable.

Set in Oregon, but way cooler to visit than Portland
Full story that ends nicely, with a nerd champion who's behavior and perspectives are realistic and attainable. Makes you question modern games in ways Enders Game or similar stories have not. Also, if you do the audiobook, Wil Wheaton narrates, and he's a wonderful narrator.

Premature rating from a book nerd.
I will update this review after I see the series. I am a huge fan of Leigh Bardugo and I hope the series lives up to her fans expectations. I want the flirts, the fights and the fantastic plot twisty actioness!

The Best Of The Series
This is the final book of the halo series by Eric, and it is by far the best.
This book reminds you why you have to love everything halo, it introduces the spartan III's and gives a new face to how the spartans are.
With its amazing ending that leaves every halo nerd in tears as they feel the sacrifce a spartan makes to do the right thing

Archer does a great job of making being a nerd cool. She is a master of creating a sweet love story between girls you would think would be total social opposites. This book, like others I have read by Archer, is YA/teen friendly so it can be suggested to those young girls just coming out. In fact both main characters deal with questions about their sexuality throughout most of the book.
NerdGeek (155 KP) rated Chuck - Season 1 in TV

The world's favorite nerd
I wasn't sure about this show at first, I'll admit. When I first started watching, I thought "great another spy show. Like we don't have enough of those." But Chuck won me over with his awkward nerdy style, that somehow won over the ladies and helped him save the world a time or two. Chuck made nerds cool again.

It's no Magic
I received the DC ones if these for a gift, and while I loved the art work, and the nerd factor, i was never realy sold on the game. Perhaps the problem was the lack of friends who also played, or maybe it was just not smooth to play.
Either way, I don't think I have them anymore, otherwise I would try playing again with my nephew, and see if my mind has changed.

I am a nerd for cli fi. This was a very well written and researched book but it told a story not just information overload. The characters were from different backgrounds and therefore had different perspectives on the events as they happened. The fact that politics, buisness, and science all were addressed in the book shows the author understands that events like this(even though fictional, for now) effect everyone. He had a very global perspective and the consequences were a bit frightening.
