"I had to chop out Songs Of Love & Hate by Leonard Cohen, but I've got a later man-and-acoustic-guitar record that I think I like a little more. What I've got in now is October Language by Belong. The first Belong album is just synthesised guitar noise but incredibly serene and beautiful. It's a pretty unique record. The only record that I could compare it to through personal experience is Endless Summer by Fennesz, the so-distorted-that-it-starts-to-confuse-you guitar noise. It's just a wonderful record. It's a great record to listen to while travelling. I think that's the best circumstance to listen to music in. Where did I discover it? Probably record shopping. I'm really good friends with the guys who work in Monorail, and they have quite a good gist of what music I like, so there's a good chance I went in and they threw it at me and said 'this has got you written all over it'."

Hmmm a 12 rated "Horror" film?! Yep it doesn't really work, the only scares are predictable jumpy loud noise moments and spooky imagery. It has quite a dark story behind it though, it's just unfortunate that there is a real lack of dialogue with long quiet sections of Daniel Radcliffe walking round a creepy house. The production design is excellent though which adds to the right atmosphere, just not that scary for grown ups.

The Grace family has moved into the house of a distant relative. The first night, the kids hear a noise in the walls. The next day, they find an old manuscript. Might it explain what is happening? It's an important first step in this series of interconnected novellas, but just being set up weakens it some.

This is one of the films I put on as a background noise and is instantly quotable. A fun take on the macho tough guy cop movies that focuses on the less heroic but equally useful roles in the police force. Will Ferrell is always a force of extreme comedy and Mark Wahlberg tries to play it serious but complements the relationship with Will.

I'm a peacock, you go to let me fly!!!

Almost perfect!
I absolutely love this thing, I just wish it had a camera for video calls!
My only other issue is that sometimes, if there is a little background noise in the room, it can't hear what you're saying!
The fact that it has access to YouTube music is awesome and makes for a good old party atmosphere when my daughter has her friends round!!
