If Enter the Dragon is considered not only Bruce Lee's most successful film, but his most well-received then this would get my vote for a close second. Bruce Lee manages to show a little versatility when it comes to his acting this time around as he's shown dressed up as an old man and as a nerdy, telephone worker each with their own quirks and characteristics that Lee does a great job of portraying. Then there's the fight scenes. While working backwards through the ultimate boxed set, this is the first film to have any blood. The fight scenes are up to Lee's typical standard greatness, but the highlight is surely Chen Zhen's fight with with the seemingly unstoppable Russian, Petrov. Several of the scenes in that fight are featured in most video montages made of Lee to this day and for good reason. This also seemed to be better during the second viewing, which is slightly surprising. This is surely a must see for any Bruce Lee fan.

After spending years scaring villagers with his evil roar, then rescuing princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) from a dragon, and saving his in-laws’ kingdom, Shrek (Mike Meyers) feels his adventuresome days are over. This doesn’t sit well with him and he finds himself growing somewhat weary of his day-to-day life of a loving husband and father of three. He longs to be a “real” ogre again.
Enter Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn), who tricks Shrek into signing a contract with him, giving up a day of his life to be a real ogre again. Shrek finds himself back in Far Far Away, but this time it’s an alternate universe, one where ogres are hunted. In this alternate world, Shrek soon learns after meeting up with Donkey (Eddie Murphy), Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) and Fiona, that they have never met before.
Shrek realizes that the only way to fix things is to make Princess Fiona fall in love with him, and recruits Donkey and Puss in Boots to help him. Along the way Shrek faces many challenges in the world where Rumpelstiltskin rules and witches thwart his every effort, but in the end (as all fairy tales should, of course) love conquers all.
With nonstop laughs from the get go, this movie will not disappoint. The 3D effects were impressive, added a great depth to the movie, and really brought it to life. Although this is the fourth movie in the franchise, I was impressed with this one most of all. It has a heartfelt storyline that can capture an audience of all ages, making it a wonderful conclusion to the Shrek series.

This is the first in a new series by Erin Kellison. Her stories are always sharp and to the point, and this one is no different. You will follow Emerson as she tries to understand, work with, and live with the Bloodkin, otherwise known as Dragon shifters. She was one of those 'lost in the system' and indeed, only flagged up as Bloodkin when she applied for financial aid whilst at college. Completely fed up with the misogynistic view that most Bloodkin appear to have, she decides that she will quit and move after the job she is currently working on is finished.
This leads you to Thane, a 600-year-old Dragon who is fighting the pull of the Night Song. He knows that one more shift and he won't be able to return to his human shape. I loved him and his attitude towards Thane. Another one is Bryan, Emerson's foster brother who is also a Wolfkin. I am hoping that he will get his story too.
This is a wonderful story that takes you into the world of shifters, allies, and enemies. I personally loved every moment and am looking forward to Book 2 in this series. Highly recommended.

If this takes place outside of Havyn, then death and destruction will rain down on the human world, starting the persecution of dragons once more.
Emerson is strong and feisty and will not take any crap from anyone. Thane is also strong, set in his ways, a wonderful ally and a fearsome foe. Their world will draw you in and keep you intent on turning the pages, one after the other. Some of the other characters deserve a mention, in particular, Matthew. I loved him and his attitude towards Thane. Another one is Bryan, Emerson's foster brother who is also a Wolfkin. I am hoping that he will get his story too.

We get introduced to the world, and how Fangs of Dangs are wondering about Skee?
Why are they picking up children and then never returning them? We meet the Isby family.
There are Janner, Tink [Kalmar], Lelli, their grandfather, and their mother, Nia. Where is their father? Who is their father? What adventure will they have?
We hear more snow children as they get ready for the Dragon Day festival.
Janner feels like he always has to keep looking out for his brother and sister. However, he does get to do what he wants.
His grandfather wants to tell him, but his mother doesn't want him to say anything or bring up memories. Why secrets and no truth? Though Janner knows his father's name is Esben.
Will the children enjoy the festival together? Janner is trying to keep his siblings nearby. Will it work?
Leeli has gone missing. This happened between sad songs and before dragons came up to start dancing.
But before Tink and Janner can watch the dragons. They had to find their sister Leeli.
Their dog Nugget seems to give a clue with his barking. Once they find Leeli and Nugget, they are in a fight with two Fangs of Dangs.
Someone may have helped the children with the two stones thrown at them.
Janner and Tink help their sister. Tanner thinks they should head for home. When they get close, they see that it's dark. Podo seems to have gone to see the dragons. They go, they take Glipper Trail.
Will they find Podo (grandfather)? Where did Podo go?
Will they find their moma with Podo? Did they go to see the dragons? Why was everything dark and no smoke, as if no one was home?
We get a dragon dance and a song that Leeli sings. But where did it come from, and how did she know it?
Fangs have caught them. March them to a jail. But what will happen to them? Will they be tortured or sent away?
Will their mother or grandfather find them? We see that the adventures are starting.
What will Igiby's children do and what adventures will they get into? Who is this mysterious stone thrower?
There seem to be secrets, and they don't seem to know why. Why is Nia not really telling the children about their father? Especially Janner.
What is their family history? What adventures will all three children have?

WARRIOR HEARTS ACADEMY: DRAGON LOST is the first book in the Dragons trilogy, but book 7 in the whole Warrior Hearts Academy series. You'll need to hold onto your hat as this book is BUSY.
This one starts after the Centaur trilogy, which I haven't read, so there were some parts that I didn't fully get. What I do know is that Bree was a centaur who was changed into something else by Isobel and told she was going to save the Realms. Hint - not true! Bree has grown up with her childhood friends and doesn't want to believe anything bad about them. This is to her detriment as they prove, on more than one occasion, that they are quite happy embracing their dark side. Bree has multiple beings inside her. A Gryphon, Caliel, is the most vocal, but there is also an equine and something big and cold. (You don't know for sure yet what it is.) So, that's Bree.
Then you have Razir, the black and purple Dragon, who has his own storyline going on, as well as Tez, who grew up as a human but is also something else. Tez's story also follows his own path, without really connecting with Bree or Razir. It is told from multiple perspectives, with their own stories being told. This meant I had to slow down my reading to make sure I didn't miss anything. Not that that's a bad thing. I'm just saying.
I felt this book was more about setting the groundwork for their story. There is all the backstory for Bree that we absolutely need, as well as Tez, and figuring out how they all fit together with Razir. It is extremely fast-paced with lots of differing stories to keep track of. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all joins together (hopefully) in the next book.
It does end on one helluva cliffhanger, so consider yourself warned.
A great start to the Dragon trilogy and definitely recommended by me.
