I read the first book in this series last month, after being an avid fan of the Tortall series for years, and I fell in love with the characters. All four of the main characters are sweet, interesting, unique, and fun. I really appreciate how Tamora Peirce made them so distinct from each other and balanced their own tragic backstories with their strength, humor, and adorableness. I would not be surprised if this is not the only book from this series I read this month. Wonderfully fun tale of magic and adventures.

This has just proved something to me; that I'm not really interested in reading about the Fey. It's.nothing to do with Richelle, I've started several series' and this just proved it by lack of excitement over it.
That aside, this is my third series by the author, Vampire Academy and Georgina Kincaid the others, and it was okay, but as I said above, I'm jot that big a fan of the Fey. Vampire, werewolf, ghosts, etc. and I'm all over it. This series not so much. Therefore I don't think I'll be continuing it.

This game went too far from the original. It did not have zombies like the rest of the series and was mainly about Psychopaths.

I liked this book, but not as much as the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. Some of the main characters from that series do carry over into this new series. The story is based at Camp Half-Blood, but I wasn't as hooked into the plot as I was with the other series. That being said I will continue to read the forthcoming books in the series so I guess it wasn't that bad.
