Wonderful Insight
I was a bit curious about this book as i have watched the series Narcos on Netflix which has been created from this book. The book is much darker and contains a lot of information about Pablo Escobar that was lacking in the series. This shows his childhood and how he grew to become one of the most notorious Drug lords in the world. If you like your biographical stories then this won't let you down. A fantastic read even for those who have not seen the series.

Book #5 of DS Imogen Grey series
‏I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

Truth or Die is the 5th book in the D.S. Imogen Grey series by Katerina Diamond. I did not realize it was part of a series until I was finished reading it. Reading the earlier books may help with understanding the characters and their behavior better, but it is not necessary. This book can stand alone.

DS Imogen Grey and DS Adrian Miles are partners who are very close in work and out. There is an attraction between them which is a storyline throughout the book and, according to reviewers on Goodreads, has been a slow-building theme woven throughout the entire series. However, the main storyline is the case they are investigating, the brutal murder of a college professor.

The cover has a warning indicating this is not for the faint-hearted. This is a fast-paced police procedural novel that is also a violent, dark, and graphic read. These scenes are not part of the book for mere shock value. They enhance the story and our understanding of the killer's thoughts and actions.

A 6th book is not listed on Goodreads, but I will be looking for it. In the meantime, I do plan to read the series from the beginning.

This 200-word review was published on Philomathinphila.com on 7/30/19.

I'm generally not one for graphic novels, but I thought this was well done. Many of my students are reading this series so I thought I would see what the hype was about. The artwork is beautiful. It is very easy to read and follow.

Too far fetched
I've heard a few people saying this series is absolutely amazing so I binged watched the first 2 series and can honestly say it's not for me. I found myself bored in a few places and looking out of the window to pass time, it became predictable and far fetched, if a new series comes out I won't be watching it.

Have no clue how Ill make it waiting for the rest of this series..
My god, she did it again (although Im sure Ive said that before about Pepper's books!?)! AMAZING book! Dark, sick and twisted... just how I like 'em! ;-) I am a HUGE fan of Pepper's, love everything she writes and the Debt Inheritance series does NOT disappoint! I have been dying for months waiting for this book and devoured it in one day. All I can say is, "Thank god!?" Due to not wanting to share a spoiler- Ill just leave it at that.... Have no clue how Ill make it waiting for the rest of this series - I need it NOW!

While the "Lost Journals" are not needed to read the "Inside Out" series, they definitely add more depth and knowledge to everything that is going on in the series. It expands on Rebecca's relationship with Mark, the world he lives in, and her feelings for him and this world that he wants her to be a part of. It is amazing and something I was not able to put down easily.

A satisfying conclusion to the beloved characters that we have followed for so long. I was not disappointed... Except to say I wanted more... (0 more)
The concluding book in the epic Dark Tower series.

I never used to be a reader... And then I picked up The Gunslinger.

This completion did not disappoint and I have picked the series up again and again... And will continue to do so.

The chronicles of the invaders by John Connolly and JENNIFER RIDYARD
By far above your average young adult series

Young lovers from two different worlds join together against a common foe...... sound chess doesn't it ? Well this is not your average teen love story fare . Connolly can turn his hand to practicaly any genre, he is know as a thriller writer but this series is up there with the best in this category

Fun for new and old comic fans
This was such an awesome start to a new/reboot series. From start to finish I just found Vol.1 so much fun! The characters are all not only likeable but very relatable and that fact alone made this series one I couldn't put down.

This was also a great start for old school fans and new fans who wanted to try reading comics for the first time.

Brilliant
After reading the previous books in this series I started to read this with great anticipation and I was proofed right as I got completely lost in this book from page 1, I was unable to put it down.

The only downside is that there will be no Z is for, after she passed away last year her family decided Y would be the last in the series
