I absolutely loved this book. I’m usually not a fan of period pieces as they tend to drag on and be boring but the way this book was written I was sucked in from the first page. The attention to detail and the way the author described each character really brought the book alive. This is a great coming of age/witchcraft novel and it’s part of a series that makes it even better!

Dream a little dream but you might not live
During this third installment freddy is attacking troubled kids who escapes in life is what they become in their dreams. The kids try and use this against him hoping their alter egos are more superior than his razor sharp claws.
This was one of my favorites of the series as it deals with the fact that they can use whats in their dreams against him

I grabbed this one from my local library as an audiobook on CD not realizing it was #9 in the series. I can honestly say it was still an amazing listen and I would love to listen to the 8 previous. The entire time I was reading this one I was thinking there have to be more stories about this detective. Now I'm hoping I can find the others on CD as well!

Book 3 of the series and I would recommend that you read the previous books before starting this as it is not stand alone. It's written well, a little confusing as I don't know who all the characters are as I've not read any others in the series. Not much happens in the book, Meg marries Seth mainly to show the media she's moving on with her Life after Spike and then Meg and Seth decide to give the sham marriage a go. The End. Really, that's it! Could really have done with a little more action in the book for me as I found it boring in the end and couldn't wait to finish it.
Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Slouch Witch (The Lazy Girl's Guide To Magic, #1) in Books

This wasnt as enjoyable for me as other books by the author have been. I liked her sass and that her magic was almost as good, if not sometimes better than those in the Order but the investigation almost bored me to tears at times. The thing she has going with Rafe has me interested and i love her cat, Brutus, but I'm not sure I'll be continuing the series.
