Hazel (2934 KP) rated A Missing, Presumed in Books
Jan 12, 2018 (Updated Jan 12, 2018)
This is a pretty good book, not the best I’ve read, but pretty good. There are some great characters, especially the lead protagonist DS Manon Bradshaw with whom I felt able to connect with. The writing flowed well making it easy to read. The story kept my interest throughout and I felt the police investigation aspect was quite believable.
This is the first in a series of books featuring DS Bradshaw, I am tempted to read more.
Thanks go to the publisher, HarperCollins UK, HarperFiction and NetGalley for my copy in return for an unbiased review.

Just like all the other books in the series, this was one was just as good, actually better than the previous one. I cannot believe that Joe betrayed Lindsey like that, even if it was for the good of the country. How does he expect her to forgive him for that when she's not even sure she knows who he is anymore? It was crazy but oh so good and I can't wait for the next book to find out if there able to move on from this or if that was the end of Lindsey and Joe forever

Holly Black is amazing
This book follows the story of Jude a mortal girl who was raised in the world of the fae. Jude is a morally grey character. This makes the story more interesting because her actions are not easy to predict. It was a nice change from the typical YA hero who always does what is right. My one complaint is that the book did start off a little slow, but by the end I couldn't put it down. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, and I hope they don't disappoint.

Omg amazing. I am in love with this series already.. the characters and plot.. I love what appears to be the start of romance between a trio..I honestly have fallen in love with 2 of the guys so I'm not sure which way this will go. I find myself feeling horrible for Shade at some places and in other places I wanted to go through the computer and hurt her. lol And a couple of times I wanted to throw my kindle against the wall. Lol, that is when you know the book is awesome. Starting the 2nd one now woohoo.
Lindsay (1779 KP) rated The Flint Island Treehouse (Edgar Font's Hunt for a House to Haunt, #3) in Books

This book did not disappoint in any way. It was just amazing as the two others in this series. The Castle Lighthouse and The Fakerville Power Station were catching as the third installment.
The Font family consist of Edgar, Audrey and Garrett Font. The Fonts get a mysterious package delivered to them. They encounter a young ghost, who strongly needs their help. They must piece together clues and break the ancient spell. If they fail, they could be trapped forever. They meet up with an unexpected foe of Edgar. Can the Fonts break the spell and find the treasure? I strongly recommend it.

Fun and entertaining co-op multiplayer game
This game is fun and gives a great challenge. You have to work cooperatively to get through the level or you will die. The challenges are not too hard and there are puzzles you have to solve to get bonuses during that round. I would highly recommend this game. Especially if you love the Left 4 Dead series.

It’s not something I would read but I received this eBook in the February Fresh Fiction Book Box and this is the first book I decided to start and I loved it. The perfect amount of humor from some of the ghosts and I love the developing friendship between P.I. Melissa Kennedy and Detective Daniel Forrester they make a great team which I can see is going to turn to romance further in the series I just hope I don’t have to wait too long for the second book which is out sometime in the summer.

Really builds Han's character
This is how a Star Wars movie should be made
This is the Star Wars movie I've been waiting for since Rogue One. It easily ranks in my top 3 movies in the series. Ron Howard gets Star Wars, he's not taking strange twists like The Last Jedi did, just to make himself look like an avant-gard director. He hits all the points a Han Solo movie should, and even throws things in for long time followers.

The weakest in the series by quite a way. The first 2 were very good and I thought the second film was the best, just a bit slicker than the other two. It's a real shame that the Taggert character is not in this one. It starts with plenty of action but things get a bit silly and camp at the wonderworld theme park. Good to see Bronson Pinchot, Serge, back from the first film though. Hopefully next years 4th installment will have as many of the characters from the original as possible and a better story than this.

Well I spotted this was directed by Anna Paquin's brother and also had Stephen Moyer from True Blood on the cover, unfortunately they are not the main stars of the film. Rachel Blanchard of the TV series Clueless is the main lead.
This falls into the category of weird films, there isn't a lot of back story or explanation really into the why or what of what is going on. Reminded me a lot of Funny Games. Quite bloody and brutal, ok for a low budget film but a bit more plot would have be nice....and Anna Paquin!
