The weakest in the series by quite a way. The first 2 were very good and I thought the second film was the best, just a bit slicker than the other two. It's a real shame that the Taggert character is not in this one. It starts with plenty of action but things get a bit silly and camp at the wonderworld theme park. Good to see Bronson Pinchot, Serge, back from the first film though. Hopefully next years 4th installment will have as many of the characters from the original as possible and a better story than this.

Well I spotted this was directed by Anna Paquin's brother and also had Stephen Moyer from True Blood on the cover, unfortunately they are not the main stars of the film. Rachel Blanchard of the TV series Clueless is the main lead.
This falls into the category of weird films, there isn't a lot of back story or explanation really into the why or what of what is going on. Reminded me a lot of Funny Games. Quite bloody and brutal, ok for a low budget film but a bit more plot would have be nice....and Anna Paquin!

American Horror Story - Season 9

Well the story isn't as deep as previous seasons and you certainly miss Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson from the cast but I am a sucker for an 80's slasher movie so still got allot of enjoyment out of this. I really liked the look and vibe of this season (the opening titles are brilliant) that captures the decade very well. Some of the plot twists are completely ridiculous but it rattles along at a fast pace and is never boring and made for a very entertaining season if not quite up with the series best.

This is my first time reading a book by Jody Hedlund (I can hear the gasps of some of you even now), but it is the truth. For some reason, I have just never picked up a book by her. A Bride of Convenience is the third book in her Bride Ships series, I was not lost at all, so the book can be read at a standalone. However, I liked this one so much I ordered the first two books already and I am eagerly anticipating their arrival

I did enjoy this short that showed us things from Emmy and Cyrus's POV's after the events of the last book. I liked that Cyrus has finally met his match in Emmy and that they're now together.

Pica still made me smile like an idiot despite her actions now being a little on the more deadly side of things.

And Willa's personality still showed through despite her not being the lead in this one. It was quite fun to read her from the perspective of others.

Off to read Pain, the last book in the series.

It's taken me 12 days to read this because it was taking so long for something to happen. In the end I just decided to go for it and it still didn't work for me. I felt nothing for the characters or their situation. I don't think I'll be continuing the series.

What an amazing book! Dark, clever and thrilling! My favourite read of 2020
I read this book not realising that it was part of a series but I felt like if you didn't want to read the books in order than you don't have to.

The story lines are different but same characters are used.

The chapters are short, but captivating

This book was an amazing read and I can't wait to read more of Cavanaghs books as he is now my favourite author.

I recommend if you love a good, dark thriller
