I really liked this series. It was definitely slow, but it was all about developing the concept. Holden's girlfriend was completely annoying to me, and those last few episodes, I was wondering when they were finally going to break it off.
On another note: I like that they added in BTK, but, he didn't stick out like a loner, as they showed him. And while in the next seasons, they'll profile him, there won't really be a conclusion. Since, well, we just caught him in 2005.
I don't really like how they ended it, were they not expecting it to be successful?

More average than legendary
Having got into the Arrow and then the Flash series I thought this could be rather good with several characters from each show teaming up. Unfortunately the plot of not using the other shows main characters... They would cause too much of a ripple in the time line, or studio fees... Does raise some questions, but it gets overwhelming with too many characters and feels like it's target audience might be younger than the other shows. Overall it is less than the sum of it's parts.

Well what can I say I was hooked from the first chapter; then everything went a little South. A little irritating with constant change of narrative - not even chapter by chapter but almost every other page. Then theres the highly annoyed is the "said Gansly" before he said anything! (This happens 95% before anyone speaks) but the story is so annoyingly captivating you have to gind out what happens next. So now I've bought the other three books in series to find out what did happen that night!!! What will happen to Blue???

An imaginative story of dragons and a poor, plain girl named Creel. This is an excellent read for not only school age children but also adults. I loved the new take on dragons and what they all hoard instead of gold and jewels. The descriptions of dragons as well as Creel's dress work was vivid and believable. I could really place myself there with Creel and go through what she was going through, even down to her itchy feet while wearing her blue dragon slippers. Recommended! I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

Sex and the City (2008)
Sex and the City (2008)

It’s hard to look at Sex & The City now and not see four women who absolutely hated each other, but the first film in the series was actually pretty good. The less said about Sex and the City 2 the better. Although Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) wedding plans don’t go quite as she would have imagined them, the lead up to the ceremony itself is a reason to give this flick a watch. The fashion, the cast and Carrie’s almighty dress is pure American wedding excellence.

Meg's boyfriend Michael is appearing at a convention for the fantasy show where he has a recurring role. The actress who plays the main character on the show is a woman no one likes, so it's not that surprising when she turns up dead. But who actually killed her? Meg will have to get involved to find out. This book features some of the funniest antics of any group of characters in the series. Lots of laughs and a good mystery, too.

Madeline and Wes are throwing a destination bachelorette party for their assistant Holly. A weekend in Hawaii sounds wonderful. However, trouble starts before they even leave LA when they find out Holly might not be single. Then a murder in Hawaii leads Madeline to start investigating what is happening. The change of destination is fun, the characters are still strong, and the plot is great.

I just wish this weren't the last in the series.

Piggie is invited to her very first party, and Gerald says he knows all about parties. But are his ideas right or not?

This is another fun and funny book in Mo’s Elephant and Piggie series. Things just get crazier as they go along until we hit the perfect ending. Once again, the words are easy to sound out and the illustrations add much to the humor of the story. Great for reading and rereading.

When a well-to-do client dies mid-facial, Marla Vail decides to track down a killer to save her salon’s reputation. This cozy has a great cast of characters and suspects galore. It’s a fast moving story that will keep you guessing, and rooting for Marla all the way through. While it is the 13th Bad Hair Day Mystery series, you’ll be able to catch on and not feel lost even if you haven’t read the previous 12 books. You will most likely want to go back and read them when you’re done, however!

Loved this series!! How can anyone NOT love Kellan Kyle!? Just the sweetest guy and the love he feels for Kiera is so apparent. I could totally relate to Kiera, I really loved her character and found her to be so much like myself. I loved watching the two of them grow together and was amazed at the level of trust they could find for each other in some of the most difficult situations. I laughing hysterically, loving the banter between the guys on the road, Griffin's mouth ;-) and then, of course, crying at every turn. I CAN'T WAIT to read Kellan's POV!!
