There is a new book out for the holiday season. I know children are excited for them to come. This latest book, "Rambee Boo & and the Christmas Sock," has just been released. What a lovely story and heartfelt to get into the Christmas spirit.

I thought this was adorable. The first page has something special. What is Rock reading? Can you spot it? Maybe your child can. This book counts down to Christmas and gets the house ready. Will Rock and the family find Rambee Boo's favorite sock?

I find this book to be great for children to learn a few skills and reading skills. Children can somewhat play hide and seek with trying to find Rambee Boo's favorite sock. Can you see it or your child or children? There is rhyming in this book as well. What adventure will Rambee Boo get into during this holiday season?

The pictures are enjoyable to look at and done well. Children will love following Rock and Rambee Boo as they search and look for the sock. There are holiday traditions shown throughout the book, along with getting the house decorated for Christmas. Will Rambee Boo find his favorite sock, or will he be sad. You do not know, but a Christmas miracle can happen. I hope your children enjoy this book and continue to believe in Christmas magic.

I wonder what Rambee Boo's next adventure will be? I can't wait to find out more and read more to see what's in store for Rambee Boo and his family.

Review: Really Woolly 5-Minute Bedtime Treasury by Bonnie Rickner Jensen The five minutes bedtime Treasury is a great book to read to children. Parents can read a story to their children and bond and teach about god to them before bedtime. I know that it got several chapters if you want to look at it.
The stories tell you how god created you and the world. It also talks about how good makes you his more important to him. There are stories there for you to read and it seems to rhyme. Make the children able to understand. They may be poems or not but it a nice way to read them. It one way to show your child or children how god loves them and how important they are in this world.

Ali Wong is not for everyone. I admit that not all of her jokes landed for me. A large portion of her jokes involve her first year of being a mother and as I am a man with no children I can't entirely relate. No e the less, there were about 5 times when I laughed hard and quite a few chuckles throughout. I did enjoy it. I just wish I had been able to enjoy all of the material (admittedly more my issue than herself).

I know many have learned their ABCs in different ways. Children learn in different ways. Children need to understand the ABCs at some point. A book I came about is "The World Famous ABC Book of Rhyme" by Roger Carlson; this book will help children of different ages learn their ABCs in a fun and enjoyable way.

I happen to be told by my mom; she used to teach me to use animals to learn my ABCs growing up. This book can help children learn to say their words with pictures. They also will learn their ABCs. This book is suitable for toddlers and young readers. Children that are in preschool through grade five. Will I learn something from ABCs or some basic reading skills or words?

The way this book transpires is charming. The pictures are bright and colorful. Parents will enjoy this book as it is excellent for any one child to learn. The rhyming helps to make it fun and different. I do not know if parents or children or even teachers have thought that ABCs could be a poem to teach them.

Can your children find other words to practice while reading this book? They can learn and practice some new words or old ones. Parents will want this book on their child or children's bookshelves or in their homes. The teacher may wish to do it for their classrooms as well. It is a great resource.

Have you wanted your child or children to learn about the seasons? Most if not all children know there are four seasons in a year. I just read another book that deals with the season we call "Fall" called "Autumn." The book's name is "A Celebration of Autumn" by Roger Carlson.

The book talks about the month changing and temperatures drop. "A Celebration of Autumn" is the third book in the series. What a fun way for this book to start. The first paragraph in this book is below:

When August fades and turn to September,
and you start to feel a nip in the air;
it can only mean one thing:
Autumn is nearly there!

Children will learn about the season. They will also learn to rhyme as well. Kids will want their older siblings or parents to read this book repeatedly if it's not a favorite already. What fun activities can children come up with that goes on during this season. The illustrations are colorful and bright. The colors remain shown and represented nicely throughout the book.

I know they mention two autumn holidays that we celebrate during this time. Can you name them? We have fun and games for one and the other we get together as a family to have a meal. Autumn is when children are getting ready to go to school or started school for the year. I am surprised the school does not get a mention in the book. It deals with the different seasonal changes and temperatures that we deal with this season.

What sweet loving story about a grandchild and her grandma; This shows how love can be given unconventionally and shows what happens to such elderly grandparents with Dementia. Grandparents may forget things or their loved ones.

This book explains it in a way to children so they can understand. Children may not understand or feel confused as to why their grandma or grandpa is looking for things or being forgetful. Dementia is something hard to tell your child or children. This book seems to help because it attacks the brain and will not let their grandparents remember their loved ones or things though they want to.

We see this through the eyes of a little girl in this book. Children can change it for them if they need to think through this. Parents, this book is a beautiful addition to your child's bookshelf or your family collection of books, especially if you have a family member that deals with this.

My grandma on my dad's side either has Dementia or Alzheimer's; I do not know. She had a hard time remembering my name growing up or when I was calling her. I do not know if she ever told my grandfather the message I told her to say to her. I think she has this disease called "Dementia," but not one hundred percent sure. I know she remembers me when I was little, but that about all. She calls most of my family members "You" when she is referring to you. I have no idea for sure. The only name she ever used when she was talking or referring to someone was John. That name is shared and used by my Uncle and my grandfather and cousin.

This book remains done well; I enjoyed the idea and concept of the book. I rate it 4.5 stars (Moons). It was not that deep for me. Though then, It could be me, and that is all. It does teach children about a mental health illness that continues not talked about much. I have to say that sometimes it's hard to do.

Kid presidents: True Tales of Childhood from America's Presidents by David Stabler is a book of just that American presidents when they were kids. The book is an excellent source of information about the childhood lives of many American presidents. The book is presents in a way that gets children today interested in history.

The information is presented in a humorous and engaging way. By presenting information this way children will realize that they do not have to be perfect or great at everything they do; they just need to have motivation, interest, and the will to succeed in order to be successful. By reading this book children will learn that they to can have a positive impact on the world they live in.

This story shows that the American Presidents were normal children. Some were outdoorsy. Some were bratty. Some were brainy. Some were a complete mix. I loved the illustrations of the presidents. The illustrations really enhanced the book. The childhood biographies and fun facts helped to make the book interesting for children and adults.

This book could easily be used by parents and teachers to help children become interested in history and to learn about the popular and not so popular American Presidents.

I highly recommend this book. I give this book a 5/5 stars.

I received this book from Quirk Books via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wow
I'd heard somewhere that this one was pretty graphic and it turned out to be very true. The cinematography was good and the acting was just ok but the story was gripping. While some parts were predictable, most of it kept you on the edge of your seat. Be forewarned though, this is not a movie for the feint of heart(or for children). The ending wasn't what I thought it would be, but hey, I don't write them. If you have a strong stomach and a taste for the strange and unusual, you'll enjoy this one. If not, I'd suggest passing on it. Worth a watch(for some).

Digger Does it all (Not Really) is an excellent book to teach children about cooperation and teamwork. This book focuses on Digger. Will he do it all? Digger learns that he can't do everything at the construction site, but he has his talents.

Will he learn that it is okay for others to do what is best for them? He does not need to boast about doing everything himself but be himself. Will his friends at the construction site show him or let him know that he should do what he is talented at. They can work together.

Children will love reading this book. They will also enjoy looking at the pictures. The age is three years old and higher, but I feel it could be two years and up. I have a cousin that will love this book, and he will be turning two soon.

I love how the binding and book are on thick boards; You turn the pages, and it is decent. The plot of the story is excellent for all children. They will learn what will happen if someone is boastful and tries to do everything. They will know it best to be themselves. The parent can teach their children if they so choose.
