Interesting concept. More drugs and sex than I wanted in a YA novel. Engaging writing

Not flawless, but still a great little horror novel. Good characters and a satisfying finish.

"The most anarchic, provocative, lewd and brilliant Roth novel. It feels like it’s on fire."

This was a romance novel that was masquerading as a Scandinavian crime novel. It took me forever to get through, and I don't think I'll be reading anything else by this author. I was so disappointed, because it had so many good reviews.

I read this novel years ago when I was in fourth grade. While I don't remember much about it, I do remember that it was depressing and did not end the way I wanted it to. However, it was still an amazing novel.

In Elizabeth Church's novel "The Atomic Weight of Love," we find Meridian, a woman caught between career, love, society and her own desires. Read more about this thought provoking novel in my review here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2016/07/23/devotion-en-masse/

This novel, told almost entirely through the fictionalized postings to an Internet newsgroup and email correspondence, is probably the first electronic epistolary novel ever written. You can read my full review here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2015/03/28/burning-and-building-bridges/
