Alison Bechdel gives us a brutally honest look into her family's life after her father's death, which may have been suicide. It's painful, real, and beautifully drawn. I highly recommend this novel.

An excellent book! The language was a little difficult at times and the constant checking the glossary was a bit distracting but apart from that it was a great read. Classic novel.

Just had to stay up to finish this! I can't remember the last time I got sucked into a horror novel. Loved the writing style and could picture Orsk aka Ikea perfectly.

This was my first Mary Higgins Clark novel. I found several on the giveaway table of my apartment. I finished this one today. I love they way she strings her words together.

"“Cloud Atlas,” combines dystopian sci-fi, spy novel, seafaring tales and more in a good puzzle structure. I especially love the outrageous young wannabe composer and the creepy futuristic use of “soap.”"

"Perhaps my favorite contemporary novel by someone I’m not married to. It’s about a holocaust survivor who ends up with three wives. Every scene is a goldmine of insight about human nature."
