Someone Out There is a really enjoyable début novel full of suspense, tension, drama and intrigue with interesting characters and a great storyline and I look forward to reading more from this new author.

Outstanding acting from the then young cast.
Nostalgic story of friendship and the vulnerability of youth.
Coming of age movie, with the late River Phoenix. Stand by Me is a small, quiet film that walks tall and resonates long after.

To me the important thing in this novel is the character developement. While I didn't like Lada in the very beginning of the first book I really thing she underwent an immense character developement and really grew into hersef.

It does an amazing job of showcasing what it takes to be an elite athlete, while also taking a closer look at today’s hook up culture. I loved every minute of it.

All in all, this was a really entertaining read and a solid follow up to a massive success. it's a really gripping read and a powerful psychological thriller in the truest sense of the word.

The government wants to retain control and power so badly they are willing to sacrifice everyone. [Grant Palmquist] creates a eerie prospect of the future.

"Thoughtful apocalyptic concept"
This novel mixes an apocalyptic scenario with real life dramas from a bygone era. The various narratives are engaging and the back and forth stories knit together all the different subplots. The fact that it surrounds a troupe of performers with a past history in the arts makes for a different kind of dystopian fiction.

Simple, classy, beautifully written
This subdued simple novel about a man named William Stoner is gloriously poignant and subtle to the extreme. His career as a professor, despite his humble beginnings, and his role as a father and husband is punctuated throughout with small changes and crises. It's a gorgeous piece of literature, reminiscent of American period pieces.
