Have we found another Ondaatje? J.R. Crook's debut novel might just remind you of his style, but is ultimately unique. The brevity of the book does nothing if not emphasize the power of the prose and impact of its meaning. You can read my review here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2015/04/08/a-dream-within-a-dream/

If you were only 16, your mother was murdered, and your father in jail for the crime, you probably wouldn't have a clue how to handle it, but that's exactly what Tate McCoy has to do. Read my review of this beautiful YA debut novel by Melanie Bishop, here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/05/07/finding-buoyancy/

"A wonderful story with lots of research shining through, making this a fantastic historical novel with paranormal elements."

Good cast, well acted and surprisingly emotional (0 more)
No sequel as yet. Lead actor now dead (0 more)
Odd by name, but not Odd by nature
Well acted and Yelchin always a good watch. More than decent supporting cast and a good adaptation of the source novel by Dean Koontz.
Well worth a watch and currently on Amazon Prime
