From the moment I heard Marlee had her own novella, I couldn't wait to read it. Let me tell you - I wasn't disappointed! Though novellas are never long enough for me, I loved The Favorite!

The binding of the book (0 more)
I picked up this book solely for the unique binding; I happen to be a bookbinder (around intermediate level, I've made some cool stuff), and I loved the accordion binding. This book isn't long enough to be considered a novel, it's definitely a novella. It's the same story, from two different viewpoints, which I loved. However, the worst part is that it was only a novella, I could have read a long novel about the story and the characters.
