"Jake Gyllenhaal takes creepiness to a whole new level here in Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler is a well made and executed story of one man's obsession to get the very best video shots at accident/crime scenes just after (and while) they happen. Possibly Gyllenhaal's best performance to date, with great support from Riz Ahmed. Although I found the ending slightly disappointing, this really is a must see movie!"

If you ever wanted to know the beginnings of the bunny-boiler, this is it! This is a thrilling novel of obsession, relationships and self-awareness. The twists and turns are magnetic and the overall feel is that of equal parts dread and anticipation. This is a book that really makes you wonder, how far is too far and blurs the line forever. I could not put it down!

Used every day
Audio books, podcasts, and music are what get me through the workday. As a writer I'm a huge consumer of books, libby helps to keep that obsession affordable. My local library usually stocks the latest and greatest audio books. Though the wait times are not ideal, it's still worth it to use the app.

Could have been better
I feel this film got its wires crossed a little. Billed as a dark comedy, there's little to laugh at. It would have been better going down the thriller route a bit more. Kinda like single white female with a social media update. Scarily accurate in the obsession some have with social media. The ending was rather weak as well. Although overall an interesting film.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I have been waiting for this wonderfully compassionate book for years and didn't even realize it.

So much obsession over Ripper mythology and so many people treat Mary Ann, Annie, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary Jane like they were somehow deserving of their tragic fates.

I feel this book is a very important read.
