I have to say, after reading this book, I have a whole different perspective on the area. I've driven & ridden through this area several times. I've been down the Loop Road and snapped pictures of massive gators sunning on the side of the gravel road. I've visited Lucky Cole's and drank a beer with him. I've gazed at the post office and been broken hearted at the loss of Monroe Station. Hearing the story of how this area suffered is heart breaking. It is such a beautiful, peaceful area and to think of the pain its residents went through is awful. The book drags at times but all in all it is a wonderful look at the area, how it began, and its eventual loss to create Big Cypress.

I am a huge fan of James Patterson. The Women's Murder Club is my favorite series. This book did not disappoint at all.

This time, Lindsay Boxer is having a baby. She and Joe Molinari successfully got married in the last book and now baby makes three. Lindsay is just getting back to work and boy does she have her hands full. A body has been stolen from the ME's office. An old case she helped the FBI on has resurfaced and there is a professor who is dreaming about murders before they happen.

All of this is a lot for a regular cop to handle, but add in the emotions of just having a baby and trying to catch a killer and will Lindsay be able to handle it all.

The Halloween franchise has suffered from a disease known as sequelitis. 2002s Halloween Resurrection in particular tried too hard to change the formula and update it for a modern audience; it didn’t work.

Halloween 4 is by no means a masterpiece, but after producers decided, wrongly, to do away with Michael Myers in Halloween III, the return of our masked murderer was a site many fans had been waiting for.

The film itself is fine, though suffers from a lack of Jamie Lee Curtis, but the acting is decent and the story of Michael tracking down his niece is actually really good. It may not have set the box-office alight, but as a sequel, it’s not too bad at all.
