Well done
While the premise of this movie is not exactly unique, it's told in a very unique way. The acting was very good and the effects and cinematic were great too. Any sci-fi fan will enjoy this as will anyone whose ever lost a loved one. No gore or scares but it's fairly deep and emotional with a great twist. Worth a watch.

Silvia Undine is used to shouldering the blame for everything happening around her; people tend to be suspicious of what they don't understand and they definitely don't understand her kind.
The one place she might find acceptance is her home, the ocean from which she's been banished.
Never had she imagined that her return might start a war and what she most certainly hadn't expected was to find Kings willing to fight for, against, and over her.
So after being disappointed in Cinderella I was weary going into this one. I was pleasantly surprised it was much better than Cinderella and had more depth. I was still very confused in some parts I felt like she was throwing everything at the book and sometimes important things got a little lost. But definitely an improvement and definitely a reason to continue with the series. Although the epilogue threw me and didn't quite make sense!

Low Expections
Atlantis: The Lost Empire- is a strange movie, it came out in the early 2000's and thats when Disney was running out of ideas or starting to. I believe that their were starting to run out of ideas. Atlantis: The Lost Empire - is a strange movie, cause it came out after "The Lion King". And the movie's after "The Lion King" were stange. What im saying is after "The Lion King", disney decided to go really strange/a huge left turn/didn't expect that/disappointed and overall a huge downfall. But i will get to those movies. Oh this is one of them.
I mean it was a good premise, just was kinda of boring. It was a mix of sci-fi, adventure and thats pretty much it.
The plot: An inexperienced young adventurer becomes the key to unraveling an ancient mystery when he joins up with a group of daredevil explorers to find the legendary lost empire of Atlantis. A naive-but-determined museum cartographer Milo Thatch (Michael J. Fox), dreams of completing the quest begun by his late grandfather, a famous explorer. When a journal surfaces, an eccentric billionaire funds an expedition and the action shifts to high gear.
You can skip this one, dont need to watch it.

The Franchise has Lost its Direction
My partner adores the Fast and Furioue movies so I've seen them all many times. This one, however, just felt like they ran out of ideas. The cast was ace as always but the plot was lacking it was played off as a mystery 'why did Dom betray his people' etc. But to be honest it was just plain confusing. Everything starts to make sense towards the second half but the storyline certainly wasn't fleshed out well, it felt a bit like they pulled a bunch of pieces from the editing floor and just mashed them together. The fact is the movies aren't really about cars and racing anymore and that's truly sad. I don't have high hopes for the next one that is in the works that's for sure...

I was quite unsure what to think when I started to watch this one. I liked the sound of the premises, but could Pixar get me in the feelies again.
You bet your ass they did.
A few surprises and not necessarily the ending I was expecting, but it is full of heart.
If you do get right into the emotional center of your films, be warned, this one got us good!
Take care when watching if you have recently had a child, lost a parent or have an irrational fear of loosing either, side affects may include uncontrollable weeping and the hugging of your loved ones.

3.5 stars.
I was really enjoying this up until the 88% mark, after they'd (mainly Sarah) figured out what idiots they had been for the last seven years, and then I kinda lost interest because I was only reading it for their relationship and it sort of went somewhere else.
But for that first 88% I was really enjoying it and the way Will acted around Sarah, both in the past and the present, was really cute and I really liked him. It was love!
On the other hand Sarah was a bit annoying in her inability to believe he loved her after listening to the lies of one jealous girl all those years ago and then pushing him away at every opportunity but she came through in the end.
