This book was an absolute delight! It had me captivated from page one and I could hardly put it down! I brought the book everywhere with me so I could get in a few pages in a spare moment.

I loved that the main characters were heroic, but not heroes. The whole concept of the Greatcoats being cast down by society and hated by everyone was fascinating to me. It made the characters more interesting and the struggles more real. The characters and plot was compelling. There was intrigue and action. I borrowed the first one from the library but have already purchased them all from a bookstore online so I can read the rest shortly! :)

I am hooked!

I love Backgammon, whether it is table top game, online or app. I just love it and can't get enough! The rules are simple - move all your stones to your home before your opponent, who goes in the opposite direction, gets their stones to their home. And with such a simple premise, there are so many strategies that can lead you to win and that's where the dice and bit of luck comes in as the dices determine how many steps you can take. The more you play the game, the quicker you realise which move was the wrong one that cost you the whole game. I just love it!

Fantastic Lovecraftian D&D lite style rpg

I absolutely love this game. It is a very complex story drive dog with Lovecraftian themes and monsters. Its a perfect way for his stories to come to life and each scenario does feel like solving a mysterious puzzle. There are only 4 scenarios in the core box but a load of expansions and additional online content. Everyome who I play this with loves it. The app saves a lot of time which would be the dm to figuring out what to do next. Its not a cheap game but in my opinion very well worth it.

I had read a brief synopsis of this novel online, and wanted to try it out. I wasn't 100% sure what to expect, besides possibly weird. I enjoyed it. It's a short novel, but it's a good slice-of-life story, set in an old western-type of environment. It's sci fi, being set in a futuristic world, as far as regulations and how the government is running things. But the journey that the characters have to take is like an old western type of story. I enjoyed the growth of the main character in the short amount of time that she was given in this novel. It was an entertaining, quick read.
