A worthy addition to the original story.
This is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel which remains true to the original novel by Margaret Atwood. It seems even more disturbing with the pictures: the starkness of the almost black and white background against the red of the Handmaids clothes, not only makes the Handmaids stand out, it also, for me, highlights their separateness or ‘otherness’.
It’s a while since I read the original book, but the prose in it felt right. It’s not all prose in speech bubbles, there are more in-depth, explanatory short paragraphs - and I think they really worked well.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I can see myself reading this again and again - and I might just have to re-read the original too, especially in the lead up to The Testaments.

Good fun for all the family
Spooktacular
This definitely looked fun from the trailer and just like the stream from the Proton pack it's a blast.
Definitely one fans of the original will enjoy. Plenty of reminders, playing homage to the original and respect to Harold.
It centred around the young actors a bit more than I expected but they are suited to their roles. Mckenna Grace really stood out.
Only slight down side is the plot does become familiar in the final third and very safe, sticking to the original in many ways.
Overall a fun film that all will enjoy whether old fans of the original or those on their first visit to Ghostbusters. Stay to the very end for another scene.

Ok so scream was rebooted once again in what I can only describe after seeing this one, is not much more than a cash grab sequel that's just DYING to squeeze the life out of the remaining original characters.
Riffing on the original plot, which is constantly brought up in its own poor attempt at being meta by using the fictional movie stab which is based on the original movies events.... (hey you, ya still there? Are you keeping up?) and being used as a terrible guide book if you will...
The only good thing about this movie is the return/inclusion of the original cast...
Honestly, this movie just kinda fell flat quickly and had its moments throughout its run but its nothing to brag about.
