Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Royally Bad in Books

I don't think the author stuck to Kain's original bad arse-ness enough. To start with he was this arrogant arse that was hot but likeable and then by the eighth or ninth chapter he was all nice and gentle and wanting more from her. It lost my interest a little when that happened. The rest of the story didnt really pull me in either apart from the family turmoil when Lulabelle? came back after ten years away.
I don't think I'll be continuing the series.

Despite Eddie Redmayne's best attempts, and the inclusion of 'Star power' in the form of Johnny Depp, the first Harry Potter prequel 'Fantastic Beasts and where to find them' didn't really set all that high a bar for any subsequent sequels.
A bar that this fails to meet.
Honestly, I found it long, boring, plodding and confusing, completely lacking in any of the sense of wonder or magic and friendship that made the original Harry Potter films so enjoyable.
Not impressed to say the least!

Original animation style (2 more)
Funny
Great soundtrack
Amazing Spider-Man animation
A great bright, colourful and technical amazing animation film. It's hard to describe the style, quite often a mix, but almost like a 3D comic book at times. The story is good and suits an animated film better and the voice cast is very well chosen. Along with a great soundtrack and plenty of funny moments. I can imagine more films in future taking this visual approach.
Absolutely awesome, go check it out! Currently on Netflix.

Been meaning to watch this for a while. I wasn't overly convinced about watching a whole film from the point of view of a laptop screen. To me it was a bit odd. I don't think it lent much to the experience the way some found footage films work well due to the format. After the first hour it got a bit tiring. Though it was saved by good actors and some good twists in an intriguing story. An original idea at least.

A good insight into how Jane Tennison became so hard and ruthless
I am a massive fan of the prime suspect series and i was a little wary of this at first. Its as dark as the original series and its got good characters and plot. What starts of as a simple murder investigation escalates into a lot more and its good to see the developement of Jane Tennison from a probationer policewoman. Well worth a watch.
