This novel is in every way original, thrilling and compelling. The issues of morality, ethics, politics and self-interest come across clearly and are thought about long after the book has been read. The fact that this novel can accomplish all that while delivering a truly interesting and plausible concept in a page turner is nothing short of genius. While the character development may be a little one dimensional and the writing stilted and trite at times the plot propels this story forward much like an uncontrollable self-driving car.

What is not to love??
Another amazing PIXAR animation.
Toy Story 4 is an amazing add on to the Toy Story Franchise.

Starring all the original characters, plus lots of new faces, Toy Story 4 brings the best film in the series.

Since being 9/10 years old, Toy Story has been a favourite, and now that I am a Mum of 3, it is a go-to family night movie which we all love.
Popular with all ages, it will have you laughing and crying. The emotion is real.

2018 | Crime, Documentary
This is a pretty interesting documentary about a religious (?) sect that followed Indian Guru, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, 'invading' a small town in the middle of nowhere in Oregon. It showed both parties, interviewing the original residents, and the members of the sect. This made the documentary watchable, at least for me.
The most entertaining and slightly deranged person interview was Sheela, who served as Bhagwan's personal secretary. This lady was convicted of poisoning a town, and arming the sect like a military.
Worth a watch, and it's relatively short.

Ridiculously early Oscar predictions:
Best Picture- Jojo Rabbit (they have never been keen on satire, but it looks like a winner at TIFF)
Best Director- Terence Malick, A Hidden Life
Best Actor- Antonio Banderas, Pain & Glory (plays a veiled version of his director like Roy Scheider)
Best Actress- Cynthia Erivo, Harriet
Best Supporting Actor- John Lithgow, Bombshell (they like villainous people)
Best Supporting Actress- Annette Bening (famous Oscar loser gets redemption)
Best Original Screenplay- The Farewell (QT has 2 already)
Best Adapted Screenplay- Jojo Rabbit (writers live satire though)
