IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (1934) was the first film to "sweep" the Oscars - winning Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director and Screenplay. It has only happened two other times - can you name these two films?
Finally got round to watching it even though it was on DVD, absolutely brilliant. Will have to watch it in a cinema now to get the experience. You can see why it won all the oscars.
After "Les Miz" Hugg Jackman had some big shies to fill...unfortunately i don't think he did it... good film, great songs but if it'd been the other way round oscars would be on his way right now...
Don't get me wrong this is not going to win any Oscars but it is a charming film about the importance of family.
Funny in parts and overly ridiculous in others, but all in all an ok film.
