"This book succeeds on so many levels, though the brightest, most resounding message is encouraging people to find their voice, speak up and believe in themselves. It's also about overcoming extreme obstacles and rising above negative energy with poise and grace."

Fabulous
What a movie, an in depth look at a complex man, all he wants to do is be fabulous and overcoming many obstacles that is exactly what he becomes.
One of the best music biopics of recent years, of a man who has seemed stand offish at times in the public eye, this movie delves into the human side of a talented artist and a wonderful person finding his way in the world.

A Magical Nod to the Feminist
An overall wonderful tale that bridges the idea of standing on one's own two feet and overcoming any obstacles. The story's feministic themes partnered with these ideas create a stunningly magical tale that will make it hard to put the book down. I found myself falling in love with just about every character, wonderfully surprised by the in depth background each character has, enjoying the way they expressed these backgrounds and grew from them. I recommended read for anyone who enjoys a good fantasy novel.

Absolutely Heartwarming
An absolutely heartwarming tale of true love and what it really means to stand by someone through thick and thin. They've managed to successfully portray not only the degeneration of this illness but also the emotion that comes with it from not only the single individual but all those around them. It was tormenting watching the illness take over his life and prevent him from accomplishing everything he wanted, the acting was also perfect as he portrayed this torment and anguish beautifully. Slowly as he was broken down we all watched him grow stronger and more resilient as this is a true tale of overcoming the hardest of obstacles.

After reading this I'm not sure I get the story title but other than that I liked this.

It was polar opposites attracting; the popular guy and the girl who's different, the loner.

I liked how they both changed. The found hope and a reason to be better, to believe that they could become better with each other in their lives. Overcoming obstacles and the past to hope for a better future.

I kind of wish the ending had been a little longer but knowing that they finally stood up for each other and that Stella was actually giving college a chance was enough for me.

Another nice YA romance from Katie McGarry.
