One of the best games I have played in a while
Spider-Man PS4 is one of the best games I have played in a while. I was dubious getting it at first. It’s the first Spider-Man title I have bought and played all the way through. The game is designed so that while you start with a lot of Spidey’s powers initially, you build upon them to become, as the tagline says, greater. It treats the gamer with respect. You build upon your powers the way you want to progress and how you fight. The story is incredible and one of Spidey’s best (I’ve read a few graphic novels in my time about Spider-Man!). It mixes emotion with great story telling that builds to a very tense climax. Sure questions are left unanswered for a sequel but that raises two questions: how do they go on from there and if this game is great, how do they make it better?

So addictive
This game is soooo addictive! Bought it for the PS4 and Xbox One and also most recently for the PS Vita now since it’s recent port onto the handheld system.

It’s a super chilled out game with the ability to craft, level up, build, farm and interact with NPCs in a variety of quests and side missions.

If you are a fan of games such as Harvest Moon, Terraria, Minecraft, Animal crossing, etc. then this is a must for your collection.

My only down point is the fact that the days don’t last long in game so if you are away from your house late at night and don’t get back in time, you pass out and lose some money; especially if you get carried away mining!

It’s got a hell of a lot to complete so it won’t be a game that you complete in a day, week or even a month.

It’s usually always on sale, particularly on the Playstation store so you’ll be able to get it for an amazing price.

Give it a try but be warned, once you get into the mechanics of the game, you SHALL be addicted!

Does Anyone Remember This Game
Ohh Knack, how you disappointed everyone. You were one of the first games for the PS4 and boy you were disappointed and bad. I mean you came and went so fast that no knew. Its ohh remember that game about robots? Which one? See Knack no one knows.

Upon release, Knack was met with a mixed critical response; reviewers praised the game's original concept and ideas, but criticized the gameplay, level of difficulty, and story.

A good concept for a game: The player navigates the titular character Knack through a series of levels viewed in a fixed camera, third-person-style view. Knack is a living humanoid organism that consists of Relics; a large central Relic is always surrounded by a varying number of smaller Relics. The story follows Knack and his creator on a journey to save humankind from a species known as the Goblins. However, one of Knack's creator's former friends goes rogue, and Knack and his allies must stop the antagonist's evil plans.

It just wasnt what people wanted. It was a huge let down, for a new console game. One of the leading ones.

Its sequel didnt do good as well.

Knack, no one remembers you.

One of my favourites
Skyrim is by far one of my favourite games that I've ever played and one that I've probably spent the most time on to date (And there's still plenty more for me to do in the game). I started playing skyrim just after the release on xbox 360 and probably spent around 200+ hours playing. And then it came out on xbox one remastered and I bought it immediately and I've done about 500+ hours so far. (Tempted to buy it on ps4 too now as thats the console I mainly use now). Skyrim has a brilliant main storyline and plenty of cool side missions and quests too. It has beautiful graphics and you can create your character how you like and choose what skills and areas to improve while playing. Sometimes you can come across a bug/glitch but most of the time it can be fixed. There are parts in Skyrim that make you angry if you can't do a certain part but all you have to do is come back later when you have upgraded your skills and armour/weapons. You can choose where you want to go and when, you don't have to complete the main story before doing other quests.

Short, clichéd and repetitive.
This one is especially difficult for me because I'm a bit of a superfan of the game's director, the legendary Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, Dino Crisis etc.).

But this game was probably one of the shortest game's I've ever played, which is a ble ssing in a way as every mission is exactly the same. Each level basically has two objectives, which are:
1. Destroy all enemies.
2. Reach the destination.
That is literally it, absolutely nothing to make you think, just constantly shooting down an incredibly small variety of enemies, with an equally small variety of weapons.

The storyline itself is also very basic. Futuristic, typical Russian antagonist, typical chain-smoking macho protagonist, predictable twists at the end.

But every game does have it's positives. The quality of the PlayStation 4 remaster is outstanding, and feels like a new PS4 game. The design of everything in the game is also excellent, although the characters themselves are pretty run-of-the-mill, their designs are somewhat unique and look great. The same can be said for the design of the the map and scenery.

Overall, a great looking game, that's let down terribly by the gameplay.

Sorry, Shinji, still love you!

I downloaded Conan Exiles for the ps4 thinking it was going to be another of the crappy free games that you could complete within a night and feel no satisfaction from.

Then i loaded up the game... How wrong i was. From the get go i was hooked on this beautiful world full of creatures and adventure and possibilities. At first i died... A lot. It was a little bit difficult to get the hang of the game and the controls. But once i figured it out i was hooked. From the fighting of creatures and exiles to the building of your own base even taming wild animals it's a game i have never experienced before. Leveling up is quite easy too and those tricky beasts soon become more of an annoyance than challenging.

My experience was made even more enjoyable when i joined an online clan run by my friend. Exploring and adventuring had never been more fun. Usually i am a solo player but with this game i really enjoyed the company. It's a fully immersive game with so much to do either on your own or with a group of people.
