I decided to read this book, at the suggestion of someone else that this was a page-turner. I love a good page-turner. Well, they were right, I was certainly turning the pages, but only to find out if anything interesting was going to happen. Or to find out if the action was going to continue. It seemed as if the author kept building up different scenes only to have them fizzle out. Girl gets snatched up by crazy goons and then they just let her go... I was expecting more from this book, but it just wasn't there.

Amazing! What makes this novel so terrifying is the simplicity and inevitability with which the events unfold. What would truly happen if you found yourself in a situation where you can’t escape the threat? This was a creepy, suspenseful page turner of the best kind!

I was so pleased with this book. It was an easy read but kept me wanting more. I had a really hard time setting it down and found myself thinking about it well after I was finished.

I enjoyed this, got me out of a reading slump but I did guess the ending quite early on, hence the slightly lower score

I really enjoyed this book. I never expected the ending to be how it was. It was a definite page turner for me. The only downside to this book is there was a lack of explanation on how the magic worked.

fantastic read

This book is a fantastic story. I was hooked from the first page. This book has both romance and suspense mixed with some very hot steamy scenes, make this book a definite page turner. the characters were well written and really believable. the ending omg !!! what a cliff hanger, really wanted to read the others in the series but the prices to much, sorry.

Page turner

It was kind of a quick read, the story was very easy to understand and the craziness of it all made it easy to keep reading and not save for later. It's also another dystopian novel that really gets you thinking.

The opening was very tantalizing, really had me wondering what was going to happen. Good page-turner and the scyfy was really cool. It gets a tad confusing towards the end and almost too complicated for my wittle brain but overall I think it would make an awesome movie.
