Awesome
I loved this book great story, lots of suspense and thrills, a real page turner, great characters. Couldn't put it down. Based on a small cruise when something strange is seen and the resulting events when the crew and guests are questioned. There's so much more but didn't want to post spoilers.

Such an addicting book!
I did not expect to love this book as much as I did! It's definitely a page turner and mysterious, making you want to continue on reading, discovering it for yourself. It does get confusing at times, but that is part of the fun!

I couldn't put this book down it was such a page turner. I was intrigued as to what was happening and what the main character was planning. Parts never seemed to line up until the very end where it all made sense. Sometimes you can never trust the character you thought was the good guy.

Superb gripping page-turner
What starts out as a snatched baby case gradually evolves into so much more. The pasts of the abductor and the parents and their families are exposed and motives start to explain themselves.
It isn't often I will say this, and especially not during lockdown because I have really struggled with reading, but this is truly a page-turner. Many is the evening I ended up reading just one more chapter etc etc etc.
The pacing is superb, letting the story and character interactions and conflicts unfold organically. The reader is kept guessing almost throughout the whole book - some suspicions will be true, but so many will be surprises.
Excellently written crime fiction which develops well beyond the abduction of a baby.

This is a bone chilling page turner! Supernatural meets The Exorcist meets Law & Order in a gripping story that has just the right amount of humor, fear, suspense and resolution.
This book read like a dream. I couldn’t put it down. The story grabs your from the first page. There’s no boring build up. From the first paragraph your thrown into the fight.
This book leaves you ready for the next journey. Packed with everything needed to make a satisfying read and reader.

Tempo of the book (2 more)
Main character
Supporting characters
Darkly gripping and page turning
I do like the Ben Hope books especially the more ancient history ones but this one is good and a page turner as the excitement levels are kept up and so you want to see if they can finish their mission and save the girl or not. However, my only issue is the ending is built up against the bad guy and the conclusion kinda falls a little flat
