I found that I cared very little for the characters, and the plot itself seemed very plodding and boring at times. I read to the end as it was only short and I kept hoping for more, but it never delivered. Yes the ending was good, but could’ve been so more much more. I’m actually very frustrated as this is such a great idea, i love dystopian future novels and this could’ve been so much better than it is. I like Philip K Dick, but I keep imagining how differently this story could’ve been told in the hands of another author.
The pages are perforated for easy removal, and are blank on the back side. The paper is a bit thin though so you’d have to avoid markers or pens.
With more than 75 designs, this book will keep me busy for a while. I’m loving it so far! Recommended for all ages.

But second shooter, Bell Helicopter, or Johnson’s coup or not, this film demonstrates the power politics meeting celluloid, dazzling its audience with such a plausible argument, and presenting it with such zeal that by the time you take a breath, you’re not sure what to believe, and often opt for the easy choice, taking on board the smoke and mirrors.
But when all is said and done, this is just a movie, and like the books it is based upon, not fact, just theory. But as a film, this is powerful and persuasive stuff…

He doesn't address best practices (at least, not a quarter of the way through the book). He always puts the scripts in the head of the document, which is (according to others I've been learning from) a bad idea unless there's a good reason for it.
Along with all that, there's supposed to be a web site that goes with the book, where you can download the sample code. There's no mention of the fact that the site is only accessible to those in the U.K. Why do that, then market the book in North America?
I think it deserves no stars, but GoodReads won't let me do that.

The script is sympathetically structured so Carano doesn't have to do more than the minimal amount of actual acting, but the plot is competently twisty-turny and Soderbergh puts an impressive cast around his star. Some first-class fight sequences and chases, as you would expect. At the time I had my fingers crossed for a new subgenre of pro-celebrity martial arts movies with Carano proceeding to kick in Jude Law, Orlando Bloom, Ryan Reynolds, etc, in subsequent outings, but it never happened. Shame; notable careers have been built on considerably less potential than Carano showed in this film.
