The murder mystery dinner was written so well that I felt like I was there and solving the “murder” with the characters. There was also the suspense of the environment around the dinner party with the weird noises and lights going out, which really made me wonder whether there was something sinister going on around them or if everything had a genuine explanation. I think it added to the suspense of the murder mystery part and made you more aware of little things, which I guess is why people like murder mystery parties!
I loved the writing style and how the notes were included as though you were reading them off the slip of paper that had been found, which doesn’t very often happen in books. I thought it was a nice addition and really gave you the feel of being a part of the dinner party. <br/>This has definitely made me want to read on and read the next instalment from Holly Jackson.

Totally unrealistic, not even a *single* scene where someone buys out all the toilet paper. In all seriousness, it's interesting to kick this around in terms of the current pandemic really only until this starts to take form of a narrative movie (a fucking bingo drawing for who gets the first vaccines? lmfao) rather than a "what if?" scenario - but it's never any less measured or just plain fun. Soderbergh's sickly, medical-esque digital palette coats a befitting film over a story with absolutely no regard for the sanctity of human life. I wish it retained most of the pure penchant for schadenfreude it did in its first hour before turning toward a more traditional route - characters being viciously snuffed out one after another without warning, paranoia cranked up to 11 (bystanders are the enemy, air is the enemy) but even still it does have a giddy love for the cruelty of dragging this world and its inhabitants through the wringer. Sacrifices depth for pure pacing perfection (favorably, might I add) in what is essentially a seamless series of montages that boast the same kind of uninterrupted inertia of (lesser) films such as 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦. And what a bitchin' score, no? Could have ended with more vigor, but very much succeeds as the business-casual 𝘊𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳.

Christine A. (965 KP) rated The Art of Spiral Drawing: Learn to create spiral art and geometric drawings using pencil, pen, and more in Books

Many people love to doodle. If you look at any of my lists or scrap paper, you'll know I do.
When I found The Art of Spiral Drawing: Learn to create spiral art and geometric drawings using pencil, pen, and more by Jonathan Stephen Harris I just had to try it especially when I read it "offers a modern take on the Spirogragh". As a kid, I spent hours playing with Spirograph.
The Art of Spiral Drawing is written so a beginner could follow the directions but without insulting more advanced drawers. I learned right away I can not draw a straight line. My lines are not anywhere close to being straight. That being said, I had a lot of fun drawing the art and added the art to my doodle repertoire.
I used a ruler to help with my lines. This helped immensely. However, I do not recommend using one at work. Many people will notice it and stop to ask what you are doing. Leave the ruler at home.
Harris also wrote The Art of Drawing Optical Illusions which appears to be similar to The Art of Spiral Drawing and was added to my "want to read" list.
