**BOOK SYNOPSIS FOR PAPER TARGETS**
Everyone knew that Roanne never got angry—until the night she killed her ex-husband and herself.

Roanne, a nice, suburban lady in her sixties who works at a Hallmark shop and volunteers at the Food Bank in Round Rock, Texas, calls her lifelong friend, Connie, confesses to murder, then puts the gun to her own head. On a journey to reclaim her inner power and to make peace with the loss of her treasured friend, Connie’s mission is to avoid the same tragic path as Roanne, but she takes along a gun, just in case.

This was a better idea on paper than it is a movie, but it's an interesting experiment to see play out. If you are browsing Netflix and have nothing else to watch, this will fill a couple of hours.

"Paper Catching Though not really a fight, this sequence of grabbing papers caught in a wind has a special place in my heart. It’s one of the times where we take all the martial arts know-how and use it on a character moment without combat. A beautiful little scene."

It arrives on crisp, ivory paper with elegant gold script. It is an invitation to a party like no other, an invitation to death. Written by the same author as "Funhouse".

I really really wanted to like this book. On paper it's something that's right down my alley. It wasn't, though. I fought hard to get into it, but it just wasn't written for an audience that includes me. It has nothing to do with the book or with the writer. I just couldn't get into it.

When an obnoxious collector dies at a kiln opening, art reporter Molly Appleby smells something fishy. The plot moves slowly, the characters were paper thin, and I hated the ending. Other then that, I loved it.
