I'd been struggling to get to even half way in this. No offense to the story or anything but i'm in a paranormal mood right now so Kim Harrison's The Hollows series is winning in my kindle vs paperback war and i just can't get into this.

It might have been them getting together so early...I like the whole will they/won't they thing in my romances, so i was really enjoying this until after the China/Japan visit when they declared their love for each other about the 30% mark. It was too soon in my opinion, whether they'd fallen in love three years earlier or not.

Also the prosthetic had nothing on the one in [b:Worth It|32608774|Worth It|S.M. Shade|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1481739183s/32608774.jpg|53191396], which i read not long ago and fell in love with.

I know, I should gave finished it after slogging through 3/4 of the book but it appears that what I was reading wasn't sinking in. I just read a bit at the end of the last chapter and I was like, "When did that happen?"

I have struggled with it from the beginning. I'm currently into my paranormal books again and this was a freebie on Amazon. I was hoping it would be like the last book I read,

 but it's nothing like it.

I like my kick arse heroines with brooding love interests and I found our heroine in this to be too whiny and selfish. The wanting her family to know she's still alive despite knowing how dangerous it could be for them all. I normally don't get too bothered by character personalities and decisions by jeez, Erin did my head in.

Well Worth Reading
I must admit that during the first few chapters I was asking myself if I would ever finish reading this book. I can honestly say that continuing to read it was well worth it!! Crystal is at the cusp of womanhood and while at school one day she thinks she sees Olivia but that's hard to believe because her classmate was dead. One night she stumbles upon a secret that will alter her life and her perception of the world around her will suddenly change.

With the help of her mother and her two best friends, Emma and Derek, she will embark on a paranormal journey that will bring many revelations. This is the first book I've read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her books as she made a believer of her talent out of me.

So I read my first Jenn Bennett book several years ago, her paranormal Arcadia Bell series and devoured the 4 books in about a week, it was so good. It was then only last year I found her YA books on Amazon and decided to try them and they are so cute.

This must be my sixth or seventh and I've enjoyed all of them. Her YA/NA books are so cute in their romances with characters that you want to get together so badly and written in a way that even you feel a little warm and gooey after reading them fall for each other.

This one involves a nerdy stargazer and an emo-y outdoors fan who trek for several days through the wilderness that sounded pretty amazing apart from the bears and cougars/mountain lions.

I cannot wait to read more of her work
